NOPE! His corpse hasn't started walking around on its own yet!

Yeah! I was convinced that it was Airachnid, I thought she would be a greater menace since she can control the Insecticons, but I evidently didn´t think about Decepti-Zombies.

Get on that one, customizers!
Anyway, glad we get another Con-focused ep.
Making a prediction now: this chaos is not accidental. Based on what we saw at the end of 'Plus One', I think this stratagem is a distraction set up by Predaking so he can retrieve his cloned brothers and set up a third faction.

I don't think it'll work on Silas, who is/was a human.
However Cylas is a human-cybertronian hybrid with the human part surgically attatched to the nervous-system of Breakdown's corpse. Basically a human with a cybernetic prosthesis. The human-part (given it still exists) I can't deny nor confirm wether it'll work, but Breakdown's corpse itself is easily reanimated by the Dark-energon.
But what's with those tongues? Looks like something out of "Alien" or "Blade II"

I really want to know where the Synth-En comes into affect. And how Breakdown's corpse suddenly goes from Synth-En to Dark-En. (Heh heh)

Agreed. But as others have said maybe it's part of Predaking's plans to conquer all. But this series better turn the volume up to 11 in the last five episodes. I'm starting to think we'll never see the rest of the Predacons, if CGI models really do cost a lot to create, they're not going to get a whole lot of screen-time.

I could agree with this. Obviously Predaking is not some wild ravage beast but is very intelligent. I think is is why he has yet to transform in robot yet, if he transformers they will catch onto him and see he is not just some beast. I think once his plan to conquer all or when his fellow Predacons have arrived they will all gather and transform and announce the new Predacon faction maybe. I think this could be the last part of the last episode. The remaining episodes (except for the zombie one which could have some really important like 10 sec clip of something with Predaking again or Shockwave in his lab) will consist of creating other Predacons and/or collecting remains. In the last episode is when crap will hit the fan and the Predacons unite. Just my thoughts.

1) Silas will be quietly dropped from the series and won't be mentioned at all in this ep (leaving the only conclusion to be that the deceps killed him).
2) Silas is still inside Breakdown alive somehow. Knockout uses the synth-en on him as part of the experiments he was conducting, and Silas uses Breakdown's body to steal the dark energon and make himself more powerful.
3) It will be mentioned that Knockout removed Silas and dumped him somewhere, leaving Breakdown's body free to experiment with.
As big a deal as they made out of Silas in the first season, it's tough to imagine they'd have his end in S2 be so ignominious.

Man, I just know that if Silas (or what's left of him) is in this episode, it's gunna be nasty!

Option 1 seems most likely, but they don't have to just not mention Silas for us to think that he's dead. They can mention him in passing and acknowledge that Knock Out killed him.Shockwave7 wrote:I'm more interested in what this ep may reveal about what happened to Silas. It really is a shame... there was much more that could've been done with Silas in the Decepticon body. Given Vehicons die all the time, the Decepticons could've co-opted the technology Mech used and had human conscripts added to their ranks... but that may just be a bit too dark for a kids show. I'm honestly surprised The Human Factor was as dark as it was.
Still, at least it's a heavy Decepticon focused ep. Those tend to be good.

Knock Out was pretty emphatic about not leaving a single "fiber or fiber-optic unexamined." "Breakdown would be tickled," after all.
I don't know how much more dead a squishy human can get.

Not unless they wanted to keep Megatron consistently portrayed as one who views himself as firmly above humanity and would never willingly seek the aid of one.Henry921 wrote:It really is a shame... there was much more that could've been done with Silas in the Decepticon body.
This is a Megatron who would mock the G1 and Movie Megatron for even considering the aid of Dr. Arkeville, Dylan Gould, or any human.
Darkness aside, as stated above, these Cons feel that are above humans. They don't want, need, or like the idea of seeking help from puny flesh creatures, much less welcome any into their ranks as allied troops or what have you.Henry921 wrote:Given Vehicons die all the time, the Decepticons could've co-opted the technology Mech used and had human conscripts added to their ranks... but that may just be a bit too dark for a kids show. You got to admit he's got a point.
Nonetheless it's gonna be a real awesome episode. Friday should reach faster.
But still, what's the deal with the split-face and Alien-tounge? Previous Terrorcons had no such features?!

This is odd, maybe it's a side effect of the synthetic Energon Knock Out is using. But either way it's likely a nod to the monster Vampire bread from Blade 2, and normal Vampires in Blade Trinity.
Actually, seeing how the one in this clip can talk, and what it says "Energon", I'm guessing these aren't Zombies but actually Vampires.
But then again, the first promo said "Deceptizombies".

So let's stand a hypothesis:
We know that Dark energon reanimates the dead. We also know that if someone uses it in their own systems it can make them stronger. And we know that if someone simply comes into contact with said matter it can weaken them. But in said episode we suppose that Knock Out is also working on synthetic energon.
Previous Terrorcons we were shown were just mindless creatures, yet this specimen (and i suppose the other ones in the episode will be the same) is after energon, being able to speak and posesses an alien-like snake-tounge.
Could it be that KO somehow (most likely intentionally) mixes together dark AND synthetic energon and the result is a substance which reanimates the dead and mutates them even further than D.E. did, creating "zombies" who wander around to get fresh energon like vampires? Basically both zombie and vampire are undead and... and...
Okay, so maybe I've watched too many comedian horror flicks and cartoons. Go figure.
Simply put it's gonna be a special-mutation of a Terrorcon resulted by two energon types which should NOT be mixed.

Starscream, you nitwit. Way to give Cylas Dark Energon, turning him into a pseudo-vampire.
Pfft, Starscream's "highly trained" Vehicons.
Starscream and Knock Out's little last goodbyes moment had me chuckling.
So Airachnid was the old enemy we had speculated! Poor Silas, finally died (peacefully?).
All the lulz to Soundwave and his Space Bridging shenanigans.
More lulz to Megatron teaching Starscream a lesson.
Shit, did NOT see that ending coming!

so nice to see the loose ends from the previous season tied up, and to see last years 'toys' again.
