The individual pre-order is sold out, but he can still be pre-ordered in the two piece set along with Beast Optimus Prime, who has yet to be revealed.

Do we really know for sure that there is one? Could it have been rumor, mistranslation, or incorrect assumption on someone's part?

Can't wait to see the larger size class figure.

Where do the Beast Mode hind legs vanish in to?
Also, is Hasbro FINALLY ditching the "Powerizer" gimmick on Voyagers?

What do you mean "finally"? It was the gimmick for one size class in one toyline. Only 8 figures, assuming Skyquake ever makes it to market. And it hasn't even been a full year. I know it wasn't a popular gimmick but you're making it sound like it infected the entire brand.

look at his waist in beast mode were back legs are jointed at you see same yellow v shape desing on his lower legs
forogt to mention he looks like scourge from energon series his 2 guns in beast mode are replaced by 2 heads bot mode simaler in comparisons

Now, if we get our own mold of Smokescreen & Shockwave, Hasbro just won.

Where do you get any indication he meant the entire brand? The "Powerizer" gimmick was strictly PRiD, so I'm sure he was referring to those Voyagers.

Yep. We're also getting missiles for the larger Predaking (although I can't tell if they're spring-loaded). Also, Beast Hunters Wheeljack's Falcon Spear has a firing capture ring and Lazerback has firing acid missiles. I'm so happy they stopped ignoring firing projectiles.

The "energon series" includes Armada, Energon, and Cybertron, and it's called the Unicron Trilogy.
On that note, Scourge was in Transformers Cybertron, not Energon.

My point is that he's making such a fuss about it that you would think the problem was more wide-reaching than it really is.

You sound like this is the first time they've ever done a beast figure whose transformation wasn't just "stand up on limbs and fold down the head".Bubbah wrote:Hasbro, congratulations on a Beastformer who doesn't just standup, and have a fold down beast head to reveal the bot head. I think the beast mode hind legs fold up and become the back half of the bot mode legs, but they're well hidden and I for one like how it's done, from what I can see. 2 distinct modes ... well played!

That's the bigger size class figure. This is the Voyager. Different size class = different toy.Xephon0930 wrote:What happened to that big ass version of Predaking from the initial scans of Comic Con's prototype? I actually loved the size of that said Predaking.

You think he makes it sound more widespread because he used the word "finally." You're keying in on a word that defines a long time. A long time can vary, it doesn't have to be more than a year. 8 months can be considered a "long time." Let's not forget that the PRiD Voyager figures will be on shelves a little while longer, which will probably hit your "full year" minimum.

On the one hand, he looks awesome. On the other, I forgot we were receiving a Weaponizers size version. However...the Weaponizers have been really shoddy looking to me, I can't imagine he'd be much better. I know we saw pics of it, but I'm assuming that once he hits production, he'll be hardly better than Optimus and Bumblebee now.
I'm conflicted...I think I might just stick with the Voyager.

It was a larger scale figure, but we're not quite sure if it's a Weaponizer or the return of Supreme Class ( ).
Posted by Sabrblade on November 29th, 2012 @ 3:50pm CST
Or Leader class, since Weaponizers have been simialr to but different from the typical Leader class figures we got during the Cybertron-DOTM era.PrymeStriker wrote:Autobot032 wrote:Hmm. I'm rethinking my preorder, here....

HOWEVER i also just read for the first time about that "beast optimus prime" toy.
does this mean that for the first time a truck morphin' prime is going to pull a transmetal-esque evolution in the show, like how primal did in beast wars?
or is the toy only being made for the money?

He'll still be a truck, but with spikes and stuff. We saw a Cyberverse Leader figure last week. (A completely new mold)
We don't know if the Voyager will be a new mold, or modified like the Deluxe/Revealers are.
And yeah, being made for money.

I'm curious to see the larger version too though, be it Supreme, Weaponizer, Leader, etc. If it's another good model that is different enough to justify (maybe even just by the size), then I might be getting both!
P.S. I believe I was the one who brought this to everyone's attention with my post earlier (http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub/robot-mode-photo-of-transformers-prime-voyager-predaking-t91117.php). Could I possibly get a shout out for the news find too?! Either way, I'm just glad I could share this with all my fellow Seibertronians! I've been enjoying the discussion (as usual)!

Looks like they flip behind and fill his hollow robot legs, kinda like PRiD Arcee.

Better than I had hoped but I still don't think I'll be buying any beast hunter toys for the next 3 years.

After seeing this, I had to dig up pics of the Leader Class. It's massive, it has light up features (which are not a selling point for me, but it usually means it's larger...) and it has full weapons.
On the other hand, the Voyager seems to have a more intricate transformation (whereas the Leader seems to just stand up, fold down, etc.) and it's cheaper. I dunno.
I'll keep the preorder for now, but I'm rather tempted to cancel and go for the Leader due to it's massive wing span.

One could easily connect Mechtech and Powerizers together, given the very similar gimmick. I for one am also glad that the Powerizer/Mechtech gimmick is done with, because as far as I was concerned, they were the same thing, and the whole reason I didn't collect DotM.

It's also very similar to the Mechtech gimmick in DOTM, so if you consider it a continuation of said gimmick (I do), it's a welcome change. [Edit: Lord Onixprime agrees also ]

LOOOOOOL! That would be most hilarious.
As for my opionion on the figure: Meh. I think I can safely pass on this line unless they continue to release some legit, non-spikey vehicle modes.
TRUKK NOT MUNKEY 4EVA.

I know it's not the first, but given that most of the beast figures are either "stand up" transformations, or shell formers, this is a VERY welcome sight. And I will admit, there have been some very good beasts, but majority are underwhelming and repetative feeling. And considering the rest of the BH line (remolds, that have been a disappoint for most people), the downsizing the last couple years, weapon gimicks AND that he's getting an impressive larger figure, I had very low expecations for this.

And, the addition of Predacons ruin TFP for you? They're not gonna stop making carformers if that's your dilemma.

I'm still a little confused as to whether there is indeed an leader sized figure in the works but I'd like the biggest Predaking figure they are willing to give us.

No, the front legs are the arms. It's the hind legs that flipped the bird on the complainers.

There is, but the size class is unknown. Ultra, Supreme, Weaponizer...it's all speculation at this point.

can't say I'm particularly impressed with either offering. Maybe get one if he's awesome on the show, or I end up being able to get him for dirt cheap somewhere down the line, but right now he's not a must have.
