Hot on the heels of the Transformers: Prime Arcee and Starscream reveals we now have images of Bumblebee courtesy of IGN.com! Feast your optics on his product description and images below!

Transformers Prime has brought the animated robots-in-disguise back in a big way, and Hasbro is keeping up with a brand new assortment coming in October of 2011. It is IGN's pleasure to bring you the exclusive first look at Hasbro's Transformers Prime First Edition Bumblebee action figure, shown below. Pretty snazzy, if we do say so. The Transformers Prime First Edition action figure assortment includes Arcee and Starscream as well.

Holy foot kibble Batman! I don't really like it. Arcee looks good, Starscream is await and see. Bumblebee looks too wide and has too much awkward kibble.

Three for three.

Looking good!

I'm much more excited for these 3 than for anything from DotM.

Hate to say it but i like the movie bumblebee toy better. Anyone else get a Hot Shot vibe from his car mode?

Not to me. It's only been like 3 toys.

Seems the same to me.
Actually Amiamted Arcee > Prime Arcee
So, I'd say so far, animated is better.

I'm not sure what I think of this figure. It looks okay in robot mode, but I really don't like the wide shoulders. The vehicle mode looks pretty good, though. I'm hoping we'll see Bulkhead soon.

I think the shoulders are perhaps slightly mistransformed or at least are at the far point of their articulation.

Eh. I'm just sick of Bumblebee. If I pick up any from Prime, 'Bee will not be one of them.

Not feeling any of these. Looks like if bayformers and animated had a baby this is what would turn out. They look too much like movie figures in an animated style. im new btw :D

They are really capturing the look of the show with these figures. Bumblebee's looking good.

arcee is my fave one so far.. star scream sacrificed his alt mode and bumblebee is ok

think they've done a fine job of marrying animated with the movieverse and am intrigued - hopefully the quality of the show will improve as they go along

am sure finding these more of a win than the moon thingies

Agreed, the right and left shoulders do not even match up.

But, I will say I think they have went 3 for 3 so far with these guys. Granted, the colors are probably photoshopped to no end, the molds have been great. Really looking forward to seeing Prime. Hopefully, he is a voyager and has his battle mask/plate =P~

Don't know what it is about the alt mode but for some reason I want to see it redone in Cybertron Downshift's paint scheme. Not the bot mode, that would just look odd, but the vehicle mode in the green and black. Aside from that I don't have much of an opinion about this guy one way or the other. Other than some of the Generations figures, my enthusiasm for the most recent TF designs has dropped sharply.

Bumblebee looks awesome, I really like this style and I'm beginning to accept the no-noses. Since a lot of TF lines have noses, this is different. I also love the way animated + movie worked out, it's win from both lines. There are so many TF toylines now and coming out in the near future, I really need to get a bigger room :s

I would much rather see a CJ myself. Not that I collect CJs, but I could make an exception for Prime.

This Bumblebee looks decent, but I'm much less enthusiastic because it's Bumblebee, and that lower leg kibble looks pretty bad. I'm sure they could've done something a little better than that. But I'll probably buy it.

Bring on Bulkhead!

I really don't like the beefed up, badass warrior Bumblebee that's come out of the new movies. But MY GOD that is one sexy looking Transformers figure.
Re: Transformers: Prime Bumblebee Revealed! (1178983)
Posted by NatsumeRyu on February 7th, 2011 @ 4:11pm CST
Like some others, I get the general feeling of "I like it, but, it's ANOTHER Bumblebee" and we really do have just so many of them....
I felt like Prime's Bumblebee didn't bring anything new to the table, and maybe that's why I'm "meh" about it. Prime himself would almost qualify for this same feeling, except he's so common that ANY difference in a new version is enough difference to care. Maybe Bumblebee will reach that apex of character-hood one day, if he isn't just a fad. Maybe it would have been better if Bee hadn't made it in Animated those many cycles ago.... Lol.

So I won't comment on the figure. Too biased on my end.

Very nice. The Prime figures are actually turning out very well! I was very worried that the style of the figures were going to make it difficult to get accurate figures with good alt modes and a minimum of kibble. They are not doing a bad job at all...looking forward to adding all of these to my collection. Sure is a great time to be a Transfan... :x

Bumblebee really does have some broad shoulders but that is okay because he still looks wayy better than his DOTM counterpart.

I actually like both his TFP alt and bot mode better than the Bayverse ones.

I've a sinking feeling that the TFP line is going to produce better figs than DOTM, unless they come up with some pretty awesome leader class toys for OP, Megs, and Shockwave.

The foot kibble is a bit much for me. It looks like the back of the alt mode simply is divided up into two big chunks, one for each foot. Other than that, it looks like a nice toy. As a BB fan, I'm ready to love this toy but I'm going to reserve further judgment until we see more photos, particularly non-photo shopped photos, which I'm so very tired of. I want to see the actual toy we'll be buying without any touch ups.

Im not liking it...

Not animated enough to be animated...

Not movie enough to be movie...

I dont blame Hasbro for making the toys. I blame the artists for choosing this concept. I will give it a chance when I have time to watch the series. But it better be a damn good story without dumb humor that was the staple of the animated series.

you mean the humor that made it endearing to many children? Sure...let's do a show not aimed at kids on the all kids network...

Back in 1984, I was a kid too. I was fine with G1 not having any stupid humor. If you prefer your Transformer cartoons to resemble ninja turtles, so be it. But I remember the good old days before censorship began. When toy guns didnt have stupid orange tips. When characters actually used their weapons to hurt the enemy. When enemies actually threw real insults at each other on the battlefield instead of puns. And yes I was a kid when this went on. If I ever have a kid I want him to expierence what I did as a child and not this watered down sissy stuff society has imposed on us.

No disrespect, just speaking my mind. ;)

Wait...G1 didn't have stupid humor? A Mayan girl trying to set up Bumblebee with her family's convertible isn't stupid humor? There we definitely stupid humor in G1. it was a kids show after all...it just didn't seem stupid to us because..well, we were kids. Perspective is everything.
