As for the episode it was great. I liked Prime's Ratchet from the start and it is great that he got an episode to shine. I'm eager to see though what Megatron does with this once Knock Out reproduces the energon.

Harry Osborne took crazy green steroids and turned into the Green Goblin in an episode arc of The Spectacualr Spider-Man
and I think even Transformers has done this before. Isn't this basically what happened to Prowl when he got the samurai armour in Transformers: Animated?

Speaking of which, I am continually amazed at how well this series has been written given they're the same writers that penned that oozing pile of shit that was Revenge of the Fallen. (a.k.a. "Sam and Mikaela Running For Two Hours"). Just goes to show you what can happen when you put talented people to work for people who actually understand how to best maximize that talent...

Sorry, couldn't resist.
Great ep...definetely a season 1 high point.
I thought it was going to be a re-run when everywhere on the Net said we weren't getting new eps for awhile. I was so delighted as I had no idea this ep was going to rock.

El Duque wrote:Teletoon has listed the title of Transformers Prime episode #22 as "Stronger, Faster", which makes a lot of sense considering the context of the episode. They have also made the episode available for viewing on their website. Will Teletoon continue their streak of airing Transformers Prime episodes well ahead of the HUB? Keep your optics locked on Seibertron.com this weekend to find out.

This episode's title is "Stronger, Faster".
And it can also be found on Teletoon's website in higher quality than on YouTube.

Ratchet injects himself with synthetic Energon and becomes a menace to everyone.

Honestly, I don't know what Hasbro/The Hub was thinking… Full streaming episodes on Teletoon. YouTube. Torrents. A whole freakin' month behind everyone esle on their own product.

It's actually quite an easy decision by Hasbro. This way all the kids will be back on the school/afternoon cartoons schedule which means a captive market. If they had already shown all the new eps on their channel (btw, most Americans don't get Teletoon) then the kids would say "repeat, boring" and go to a different channel.

But I think they're underestimating the fact that most American kids in households that get their network also *get* the internet… probably moreso than Hasbro *gets* it. Also judging by most country-wide Facebooks posts I've been seeing a lot of schools started last week and locally school starts next week. When I was a kid school always started AFTER Labor Day, but I don't think that's the standard anymore… buy I'm often wrong.

School's already started in the US? Up here in Canada it doesn't start until after Labour Day. I had assumed a similar schedule, which is what I used to base my argument. I still stand by my reasonings of a captive audience, but I suppose hasbro could have started them a week or two earlier. Maybe they're scheduled this way to flow into season 2?

I think the Synthetic Energon was meant to be this show's answer to the artificial energon that shows like G1 had produced from other energy resources, as opposed to the naturally-occurring energon seen in such series as Beast Wars and TF: Energon.Elita One wrote:Watched this on Youtube last night and thought it was awesome. Made me think of the Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight "Venom" story arc, but I suppose we all have our own reference points…
