THAT.... would be insane!! His smashy-smashy moment with Megs in Fall of Cybertron literally made me freak the heck out
Within the scope of the show, i think it'll be cliffjumper, or maybe jazz, Ironhide, or Magnus. As far as wishful thinking goes, minus Ironhide i'd actually like one of the Aerialbots to appear. It'd be good to have some Autobot air superiority

The odds of seeing good old Cliff alive in present day is 1 to a million. We're more likely to see him in flashbacks.

Actually WFC and FOC is more likely to be part of G1 than Prime.
Example 1: Body designs are more G1 related.
Example 2: Plot in the franchise
Example 3: Takara said that WFC is part of G1 in the United toyline.

no its official from hasbro that the games( wfc and foc), books(Exodus and exiles), and show(prime) are all part of a new aligned continuity. now if they all take place in the same universe or are part of a multiverse is debatable.

WFC & FOC are part of the Aligned Continuity family with Prime. It has been confirmed by Hasbro. Takara has barely anything to contribute to the Aligned Continuity family, so you could hardly listen to anything they're saying about it and take it as gospel (unless it actually explains and fits plot holes between series, e.g how Breakdown got so bulky from WFC to Prime). Because, if you haven't been keeping up, Hasbro created the Aligned continuity, not Takara.
Body designs on robots change over time. Especially when you get Earth vehicular modes (although the Prime animators have been real cheap making Cybertronian character models for these guys). Of course they won't be similar.
The plot in the franchise is angled even more at the Aligned Continuity than G1. Have you read the novels yet?

There is some resons to this:
Example 1: The body designs are based on those from G1 and other continuities. Hasbro stated that is how they designed the Aligned continuity.
Example 2: The plot is derived from their legendary "Binder of Revelation." And the entire plot uses elements from Generation 1, Unicron Trilogy, Beast Wars, Animated, and more.
Example 3: Takara Tomy has nothing to do with the Aligned continuity. They are in charge of their own half of this franchise. Which means that we can see anime-based prequels/sequels to PRIME, and have none of it affect Hasbro's Aligned continuity.

This.
While I do not treat the books as a "It is happening while I read it" element, I see the continuity errors making it more of a "historical data" kind of read. And the differences between the games and PRIME has me thinking that if the events were different, they were superficial at best.
Also, on a side-note, I am wondering if "New Recruit" means that there will be a change in the line-up and not just an add-on. Besides that, I would like to at least see Jetfire join Team Prime in S3, as they need a science-class on their side.

They are the same guy in this series. TF: Prime Hot Shot = TF: Prime Rodimus.ebilly99 wrote:I would say it is most likely Hotshot. A rookie whom thinks it is all easy peasy and ends up nearly getting fraged. I mean there are not a lot of bot's left alive and I am sure Optimus can't be picky. Also wouldn't mind Roddimus if the animates wanted to.

And God knows we've had a great debate over that.
I think he was referring to if the animators wanted to upgrade Hot Shot into Rodimus over time (even though he should already be Rodimus). Otherwise, yep, they're the same f0lks.

I'd think he'd still be Hot Shot by the time of Prime since his toy and bio still identify him as Hot Shot (unless it's another Animated "Rodimus Minor" case, in which we'd have here a still youthful, immature Rodimus).PrymeStriker wrote:(even though he should already be Rodimus).

I was thinking about that, but was thinking more of the "reformatted" approach that was done in Victory, when Ginrai was reformatted into Victory Leo.

First we have blue (regular), purple (dark energon) and green (Tox-N). What's red supposed to be, and when do we get the other colors of the rainbow?

perhaps it could be the perfected version of the synthetic. maybe knockout turned his sample into some kind of berserker variation. we are talking about kryptonite right?
