I just wish we could get the rest of the "First Edition" wave!

Yea I'll get the First Edition one.

I find this really difficult to believe, as I am sure many others will?
How about a scan of your Argos receipt to keep the nay sayers down?
The catalogue isn't officially put out until this saturday (21st) and like most Argos stores, they never have all the latest new items in stoke for a week or three!
Fail!
In fact, I will be checking both the stores in my town first thing tomorrow!

Plus, he's smaller than the First Edition? The First Edition is as small as the DOTM Deluxes! How much tinier are these things gonna get?
Plus, I don't like the coloring or how the car breaks up to form robot mode. The grill on his shoulders? No thanks.
Doggone it Hasbro, what are you doing?!? First Edition is leaps and bounds better than this. I'm starting to think First Edition is for the collectors, Robots In Disguise is the kids line.

*sighs* This is pretty ridiculous. This whole... proof required thing. I mean, he owes you absolutely NOTHING.
1.) We know the catalog has the items.
2.) The store confirmed it for him.
3.) He has the item IN HAND.
It didn't come from eBay, as there are none on there, you can call your local store and ask and see if they have them. He has all the proof he needs. Really, what it is is that you're jealous you didn't get it before him and you're just going to whine about it.
Go to the store and get it. Sitting there complaining won't do you a bit of good.

Obviously, things have changed at Argos. I live in the States, so I can't attest to that, but all evidence points to the contrary of what you were shown/know.

The 'Prime' line is gonna be a whole new world for 3rd party folk to get creative with... and I can't wait!
Love the show and getting hold of the figures now seems to be almost within my grasp ( @ El Duque)!
Off topic, all over Radio 1 today about Megaupload being taken down! Is this pre-SOPA/PIPA kicking in?

I'm not jealous, but as a current Argos employee I am intrigued as to how this guy got hold of this figure seeing as these new items aren't on sale until start of business tomorrow.

We were all successful with our efforts it appears. For the time being, SOPA and PIPA are dead and the take down of MegaUpload.com is proof that SOPA and PIPA are unnecessary. The debate about what happened with MegaUpload.com continues however.

@ SEIBERTRON - How dull the world would be without internet freedom? Where would I get my official TF3 t-shirt wearing robot on robot action then?

Argos are rediculously anal.

oh well. i guess the stores around here have no interest in making money for a while.

Pay extra for the First Edition. Trust me, it's worth it to import it from Canada like I did. About $25-30.00 shipped.

Now, see.... That's a reasonable and respectful response. Had it been asked in that manner, rather than accusatory and basically calling the OP a liar, I'd have had no complaints, most likely.

I'm IN Canada. CJ disappeared off shelves in a single day, and the remaining Prime figures sold out the day after Christmas.

Buy from Transwars707 on eBay, I can fully vouch for him. Ships fast, packs well, picks the best specimens.

No you know what would be awesome? If the UK and the rest of Europe would even get one of the First Edition figures.

Hasbro: "Here's all the first editions. We hope you like them, because all future editions will be gimmicky crap."

Yup! I'm down with that Mr Metal!
BTW I hauled my ass around my Argos stores this moring and they pulled it out the bag (or stockroom) for me!!
Picked up TF Prime - Cliffjumper, Wheeljack and.... wait for it... SOUNDWAVE!!!
Voyagers (Powerizers) are not gonna be in stock until mid-week, so popped a reserve on a pair (Prime and Megatron I guess).
I have a couple of in-package pics if I can work out how to upload...?
Some folk on these forums do make me laugh with their troll-like behaviour, maybe they should stick to buying Power Rangers!

I, like many other TF fans, including one of our moderators, collect Power Rangers as well as TFs. We're not trolls. Keep digging that hole.

Thanks. I might have a local hookup, but if that falls through I'll look for that guy.
