El Duque wrote:It's become par for the course lately, the AT&T U-verse program guide reveals additional details for the upcoming Transformers Prime episode "Legacy". This episode is scheduled to air on September 21st. See the extended synopsis below:Megatron does his best to distract Optimus from the reality of a weapon of legend belonging to the Primes, which if discovered, could change the entire outcome of the war; Jack and his new Autobot companion set out on a mission.
Based on that, that may be the origin of the "dark energon"/"energon" sabers we see Megatron and Optimus respectively wield in the promo. Whether or not they're called the "Dark Saber" and/or "Star Saber" in the show (or if the two are one and the same), we'll have to wait for the episode to air.
Sabrblade wrote:I really hope it's not the Star Saber becuase the swords seen the promo look way too small. The Star Saber needs to be as big as (if not bigger than) the Forge of Solus Prime, since the Star Saber is not merely an Iacon Relic but an Artifact of the Primes.
Well, there's no reason the relics of the Primes couldn't reshape themselves to be more "user friendly" for whatever Prime weilds them.

It's probably just to have someone to show Smokescreen the ropes. Arcee could be with Miko this time if Bulkhead's still not 100% well.Avensis-Mahiya wrote:Jack is paired up with a new partner? I hope that this doesn't mean that they are going to kill off Arcee or put her on a bus (or whatever the euphamism is). Hopefully this will be a temporary thing and not permanent.

Although some would argue that Miko's not old enough to ride a motorcycle. Meanwhile Raf can ride safely inside Bumblebee without a problem (though he's not in the driver's seat).

While I do agree Miko is too young to be on a motorcycle, I could see them do it temporarily as an "emergency .. Get on, we've gotta go" type situation. The only reason I think that is because they could have Bulkhead see this, while Miko is having a lot of fun riding Arcee, and further his depression and feelings of being replaced.
And I've got to give the writers credit, small things like having Raf & Miko always being shown in the passenger seats (because they're too young to drive) are nice. It's the attention to small details like this that really make me like this show even more.

I don't think running with Wheeljack is the best idea either. Sure, he could steal the Apex Armor (which I wouldn't recommend), but Wheeljack's pretty banged up too from Hardshell (not to mention Starscream, Makeshift, Dreadwing, and Soundwave. He's gotten beat up in every episode he appeared in). I predict they'd both die easily.
Besides, in the Human Factor, Bulkhead and Smokescreen seem to be taking on Breakdown together. Perhaps this would be a nice time to patch things up.
As long as they don't become partners.

They're doing it because he is the only human who is capable of doing it. Miko, despite her enthusiasm and willingness, cannot do it because of Bulkhead - Who is currently feeling the anxiety and fear tied to the overall feeling of being replaced. (We generally call that an OCD moment.) And Raph is pretty much too young, as well as has other responsibilities.
So all Jack will do is say that his "bike" is in the shop and this is a "loaner" to those who ask. Plus, unless things change, Smokey could always end up being paired off with that one girl that Jack likes.
