According to the back packaging, the "bad guys" that the Rescue Bots face off against are "Fires, floods, and crime, or anything in between".mongrel wrote:Has there been any word on "bad guy" Rescue Bot counterparts? I can't have my concurrent Optimus Prime / Starscream collection getting too heavy on one side...
So, it looks like these guys will be the Transformers equivalent to the Rescue Heroes, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Silly Grimlock, TFs are for kids.Grimlock1979 wrote:This is the kind of Transformers Toys for me Grimlock when I start thinking over to stop the collecting hobby! Kiddy TF Toys... *puke* There are no Transformers Toys. It's just ugly "scrap"! Bullshit!

Yes, me Grimlock know that too... sometimes! Ok give Grimlock a chance to say it different this time: This Rescue Bots are not for the "big" kidz (age 7 and up like me to 32). Is that better now? Grimlock hope so, cause his brain burns. Too much to think, look at my intelligence skill.
This Rescue Bots seems to be for little Kiddies with maximum age 6. Nothing for a collector.

While I won't go out of my way to collect this entire line, some of the figures do look pretty cool. I bought the Rescue Bots Prime and Bumblebee. No, they're not very posable, but they look good and I don't play with my figures anyway. They're cutesy, but not too different from the Mighty Muggs figures. To be honest, they actually display fairly well together (which is how I plan on displaying them). The only other figures I'm interested in with these Rescue Bots are the police car and bulldozer. Hopefully we get a few Decepticons soon.

I'll honestly be very surprised if we do get any Decepticons in this line, as these guys aren't a team of warriors or soldiers, but rather an emergency response team, as evidenced by this:WolfDawg wrote:Hopefully we get a few Decepticons soon.
