It takes away anything good the original mold had and makes it worse. If you arent a fan of pieces not tabbing in and floating around, avoid him at all cost. Thanks for the description. Sounds like the leader is more my preference, even though I would like the cannon to be more integrated into the jet mode, like the voyager has it. But with the battle mask (which I think it pretty cool) and his sheer size, I think I will go with the leader class. I really don't care for the flame/cannon fire pieces, I just see them as useless extra pieces. I will probably leave them in the box. It's what I did with voyager Prime's blue shield.Carnivius wrote:I don't own Leader Megs but I've had Voyager for a while and comparing to the Leader Megs pics and videos they are very different figures in transformation and such. One big example is that Leader Megs simply swings his jet wings behind his back in robot mode, whereas Voyager Megatron's wings fold in segments around his legs below the knee surprisingly neatly. The front and cockpit of the jet mode forms Leader Meg's fusion cannon whereas on Voyager that area folds up behind him and the fusion cannon is actually stored very tidily (still permanently attached to arm) into the central rear of the jet. I prefer the small size of the Voyager's fusion cannon. Looks much neater to me and probably more movie accurate. Obviously the big feature the Leader has over the Voyager is the battle mask feature of the head. I do wish they'd include alternate heads with figures like Voyager Primes and this Megatron so you could swap them at any time since the Leader gimmick is probably too tricky to do at the smaller size. Also the Leader class has those cool flame accessories but you can probably find or make similar items to use on any TF figure. I think there's even small companies that produce various flame/energy/gunfire pieces for action figures anyway.
Obviously this is all just my opinion owning the Voyager Megatron and loving it very much. If the battle mask and larger size of the Leader suits you more than consider buying that one. For me the Voyager suits my Megatron needs just fine.
While I went for the voyager (and will not be getting the leader one anytime soon) I do appreceaite the effects the leader has. Helps for cooler toy photography

I'll just have to make a toy swap then
HEY! NO!
Bad Kanrabat, BAD!
If that TLK Primus is available aplenty like TR Fortmax, I'll wait for it to drop at 100$CAN or something...

Huh... I wonder why they did that.
I'm going to go make that in photoshop now because that looks pretty good and I'm going to headcanon that this is what Stinger would look like if he survived and did the opposite of what Bee did in AOE and remolded himself after Bee.

Got up at 5 this morning and ordered myself a voyager megs
Good thing too, as both he and hound are now sold out again. Didn't have hound pegged as selling out that fast though, maybe it was just a small shipment
Ordered him, sqweeks, and the rubiks cube head so I could use my 20% off and stay above the free shipping thresh hold

Va'al wrote:Via our usual Seibertronian reviewer chuckdawg1999 we have a video showing off a relatively unnoticed figure class from the Transformers: The Last Knight toyline: Titan Changer Megatron! Give it a look below, and let us know what you think! The Titan Changer line is the transforming branch of Titan figures, not to be confused with the Titan Class large scale figures. Articulation is very limited and of course, the transformation is simple. These are geared toward a younger audience but it is nice to see how all the Megatron figures differ.
So transforming shampoo bottles. What's the MSRP on them? Hopefully less than $10 (or local equivalent)

In Canada, they are 13$CAN at Walmart. So for the USA, this might be 10$US.
Seem about right.
But I'll skip because the proportions are so horrendous, even with custom paint they are unsalvageable.

Only figma figure I have is 'old school' Link which I presume is a high quality KO based on the veeerrry cheap price he was (£9.95 plus £1.79 postage from Malaysia to UK) and I posed him with Sqweeks many weeks ago.
Come to think of it... Link here COULD be customised into a convincing Izzy I reckon. May go order me another one right now!

All charactets had planet codenames.
Sqweeks was Earth, thats a code name, so that listing was always just RC sqweeks.

Link seems to be smaller than most regular figmas though.
I guess Squeeks will work well with my Nanoha movie A's figmas since those are based on kid characters.
Also I'm thinking of grabbing One step Grimlocks to represent the baby dinobots...

Also, damn Hasbro, if you can add stripes to "Thundercracker" and paint Shockwave's sword, you can put some white on Barricade's doors so he actually looks like a police car.
(And geez, how many Movieverse cars are grey? We're not even getting Jazz or Sideways..)

Well, in that he's a child when most are based on adult characters yes I suppose.
Am still looking up references and ideas to turn Link into Izzy so Sqweeks has his best buddy.

while drift and bee is not exactly a new info, but we finally get to see an in hand image of crosshairs here. He actually looks pretty neat, altough i still can't see the remolded parts. He just looks like a better repainted version of AOE mold to me.

It's just cybertron Primus with a snazzy coat of paint and a remolded planet key. I'd recommend some of few post 2010 reviews of him.

I would have thought any floppy action figures can be fixed with a bit of glue or nail polish in the joints. I've done it on various figures such as a Lion-O figure who had such loose ankle joints he couldn't stand up at all, but he got fixed and I've fixed the leg ball joints on a few figures both TF and non. And strengthed some shoulder/elbow joints for characters whose arms were getting weighed down by their own weapons. I can't say for sure on Steelbane til I get him and have a go but I don't see why he can't be fixed.

The film had it's lowest opening weekend in franchise history and most insiders don't see it improving. Yes we have preorders, but that doesn't mean brick and mortar will stock the figures.

I dont think thats related. The toys were finished long before the film came out, they have already been ordered by stores, they will get sold. And plus stores want them in time for the DVD release too.

The chains in general yes, but the individual stores of said chain are a somewhat different story.
