After breaking numerous records with its release,
Transformers Movie is starting to collect awards and nominations.
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Scott Farrar, visual effects supervisor for
Transformers Movie, will be honored at the 11th annual Hollywood Film Festival and Hollywood Awards Gala Ceremony on October 22 at the Beverly Hilton. Farrar will be honored at the even for his visual effects work on Transformers.

How great would it be to see the bots in tuxes holding little gold statues giving out thank you speaches!?!

I agree...honestly, can ANY movie this year hold a candle to Transformers in the FX department? Academy award for sure...makes me wonder is there is a voice-over Oscar. After all..."Best ACtor in a Columbus movie"..LOL

i say the award show is rigged if transformers doesnt win when is it on like to find whos nominated and who wins.

Sadly it probably will just get nominated for that. But don't expect anything else. The Oscars are notrious for being biased.

The oscars have a reputation for unsavory favoritism. Not one movie this year even compares to TF CGI. And thats sayin alot with Pirates out this year.
