Although the video is in Japanese, we still can see detailed features of these model kits:
These model kits are expected to hit Japanese retails in the month of June 2011.

I believe they snap together.

I think they come later in the U.S as an exclusive collector's kit. I think I'm wrong, but I know it does come later. Haven't heard much about it here.

Did you mean to say, "God, English is the only language anyone should speak," or were you referring to something called "god english"?

People think that in Spain: Spanish is the only language anyone should speak to them.
But sadly, the world does not work out this way. We have different countries for different language. It's too bad you hate every other language. The video's purpose was not to hear the voices of the japanese people, but to view Optimus Prime and Bumblebee's modeling kits in a way we haven't quite done yet.

Actually, we should all speak Esperanto, as its intended purpose for being created was a politically neutral universal language we would all share for international interaction.

Man! That Optimus looks like an absolute beast! REALLY WANT! Just not sure I can justify spending so much on a Transformer which doesn't, you know, transform.

Too bad these things are probably out of my price range though.

Having ordered these, I really hope that many more characters are created (Ironhide, for one!). Anyone have any more info on that?

We'll inform everyone immediately on the front page when the next Dual Model Kit is released!
Valandar wrote:Am I wrong, or do these look like they're pretty much the size of the Leader and Deluxe class figures?
Pretty much
Oskie21 wrote:Do they need glue? Or is this a snap together kit?
Glue is not a necessity, but it's valuable to have just in case there are loose pieces that shouldn't be loose, i.e. top of Bumblebee's head keeps popping off. Glue provides stability in most kit models, especially if they are handled alot.

These won't be released by Hasbro. However, they'll likely be imported at any hobby store that sells Gundams or anything that's built from a kit. If you don't have hobby stores near you, thery are everyone on the west coast if you ever swing by there on vacation. Other than that, you're looking at importing.

OP and BB together being sold at Japanese retail is about $156 US. If shipping from Japan to where you live is a price tag of $45.. then it's really up to you.

Thanks. But is there any place where I can buy these lovely babies online cheaper? I tried big bad toys but they've already sold out on the pre-order for Optimus. Thanks in advance.

Agreeing with both of you on the "lame" part. Anyone who knows where to pre-order both OP and BB at a reasonable price, please let us know.
