What will be the fate of the Autobot's electric car?

Like Knockout, Longarm, etc?
Yeah, this kinda sucks though.
I thought he was pretty cool.

Not trying to start the whole discussion of "so-and-so had halfa second of screen time in this fight scene" argument again, but the above quote is very true. I don't see why people should be so stunned or hurt by this news, as Jolt had ever so brief the role in ROTF. Like, were Prime or BB not included, this could be a big deal, since then there'd be like, no robots in the thrid movie.
Still, I'm sorry for fans of Jolt that he's off the casting sheet.

But, yes, his appearance in the second film wasn't exactly pivotal.

On the plus side IDW comics will likely make sense of it.

His alt-mode WAS lame but...
Seriously, removing him and adding the Einstein-Bot?
I think everyone would prefer Jolt over that...
Oh cool, it got front page'd and stuff ^_^

Kinda like: "I wish to stay with the Boys' Father".
He was an illuminator in g2, I actually have the toys: all antique style bots that had built in lights which illuminated their swords, so the electro thingy he did with Prime & Jetfires' remains was fitting. I think he was Hot Shots' minicon in Armada.

HEY, I thought Hasbro said they try to keep the names on he same side...

That's just what mainly bugs me, Einstein being in the movie and Jolt not being in it...

Megazarak wrote:That's pretty dissapointing. I really liked Jolt's appearance and was really hoping he would be back in the 3rd movie. It's kind of sad to see the most neglected but arguably most important robot (storywise) in the second movie get kicked from the main cast. Hopefully they can at least make a nice new figure for him.
Glad you noticed that, Megazarak. My friends were shocked when I reasoned it out, but Jolt was (arguably) one of the most important robots in ROTF! Anyways, sorry to see him go, though I'll choose to believe he's off kicking 'Con ass somewhere.

Einstein bot is epic.
And I didn't even notice Jolt in ROTF I had to watch the movie a second time to notice him.

You watched the movie a second time?
Sorry, I couldn't help that one. It was out there and I had to take it
His toy did seem pretty cool, but I never did pick it up. I bet there will be a repaint for the 3rd movie line though.

Windsweeper wrote:Of course he's out. They killed one of the Arcee bots in ROTF, Jazz in TF1 while Ratchet and Sideswipe got little screen time. Apart from Bumblebee and Prime, they don't like to show the cool Autobots. It will be more Twins and Ironhide (sorry I don't like him, an unfunny insult to G1 Ironhide) and that awful looking Einstein bot.
Actually, two of the sisters were shot, Chromia being the lucky one, but none of them were confirmed deceased.
This news is kind of disheartening. At least we get a fire truck.

While everyone else is hyped up about Sideswipe, I'm hyped up about Jolt. I love that character!! Don't know much about him but I think he's awesome. I would have rather seen him than the twins get more screen time.

You're kidding? I had no idea amidst all the too-fast incomprehensible flashy things going on. And I watched the movie three times!

No, it happens in the dessert fight seen. Soon after the Autobots see Sam and are trying to get him to OP. The purple one, Elita-1 I guess, rides up and says something to Sam, gets hit with a missile. Then they slow the camera down and you can see Arcee get taken down while Chromia takes refuge behind a building.

I believe your information is inaccurate. GM has definitely not "written off" the Volt release. The release has been scheduled for November this year. The EARLY release that GM executives were hoping for has been scratched-this happens from time to time, and due to the high profile of this particular automobile it is better to wait until the intended November release date in order to work out any possible remaining bugs before the car gets into the hands of buyers.

So when Nelson replied 'no Jolt', that could simply mean he won't be in the final Chicago battle!
Jolt fans; there is still hope! (I hope!)

Well, first of all I really am pissed at Bay or whoever for doing that. The Fallen would have won without Jolt. He combined Jetfire's parts to Optimus, giving him the ability to defeat the Fallen. I do not want to see Jolt get killed in Nefarious. If he isn't in TF3, then post-TF3 comics should feature Jolt vs Barricade, the two mysteriously dissapearing Transformers. I can't say I wasn't expecting this, but I'll have to live on without him. And now, GO RATCHET, IRONHIDE, AND SIDESWIPE! (I can't choose between those 3)

I don't know that he gets killed in NEFARIOUS, it's just a theory as to why he might not be in TF3.
