According to the CYBERGEEKS Alliance Facebook, these Machine Robo figures are indeed coming from Action Toys and not Bandai (making them not be Soul of Chogokin figures), they each about the height of Classics Bumblebee and Masterpiece Bumble, just under 5 inches (so smaller than a typical Transformers Deluxe), they will be about 50 bucks each, and more info to be found through the link.
Thanks! God, I hope they do a Pathfinder.
We have to remember that these are being made in accordance to the Machine Robo series, rather than GoBots, so with only 9 designs, they'll likely be just the most prominent ones from Machine Robo: Revenge of Chronos.
Trying to find more info about this, but I can't seem to find anything about UFO Robo (Japanese Path Finder) having been in the Revenge of Chronos series. So... I dunno either.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:How prominent was Pathfinder's Machine Robo counterpart in the Revenge of Chronos series?RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Houston, we have more info (and pics)!

*Shrugs* Damned if I know. But that was my favorite design/character. She's the one I want the MOST.

As in, they're not by Tonka or Hasbro, the creator and current owner of the franchise respectively. They're (supposedly) outsourced by Bandai, the creator of the original toys.

I have the 3 official DVDs and love the animation and storytelling of Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos but I can't understand Japanese enough to follow the story fully, even though I am willing to (I found all of it on youtube). I tried using the auto-translate feature for subtitles on youtube, but it is way not good.
50$ each for these guys is steep, but looks worthwhile.

The ones I have are subtitled. From Amazon, Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos Vol 1, Vol 2, and Vol 3.
Ah I got you. I misread your original statement. Sorry about that.NuclearConvoy wrote:Agamemnon wrote:NuclearConvoy wrote:Out of curiosity, does anyone know if the episodes never released on DVD stateside ever got subtitled by a group? Yeah, I have those DVD releases as well, but that isn't even half of the series and the other volumes were never released stateside.

At the very least the Gattai Saurer aka Fossilsaurus, as he played a major role in the anime (though he's modeled more after the prototype). Released in Japan and Europe, but sadly not in the US.
