What are the rules for playing multiple characters? I'm thinking it would be fun to have couple more to keep the action going for me a bit.

Thank you. I think its time to bring him out of repairs. j*Takes a looks @ the TAgan Heights thread* I see the Autobots got ran out of Tagan Heights so this leaves two options. I can either assume the CR'd autobots were taken along w/ the retreaters, or...Blackstreak steps out of CR in the middle of Decepticons and realizes he's in trouble. This could lead into an old idea I had for converting him into Decepticon for some time but I'm not sure I want to do that any more. So if it's ok I'd like to have him come out of CR @ Iacon.

Actionmasters do not need their partners. They can also be assigned an alt. mode given their toy design gives a hint what they could transform into.

What comes to function, it can be changed only under circumstances where the character's original profile supports alternative function.

Through turn of events that may or may not happen Cattila, and Carnivac changed sides to join the Autobots, but are originally Decepticons.

I like the deluxe insecticons a lot but I'll wait a while to see if I can manage the character I already have without messing up again. If I can go a month or two without causing problems then I'll apply for one.

A readthrough of the rules can clear up just about any problems related to them. :grin:

Well my favorite character from that list is Chop-Shop but I believe he has a skill rating of 10. There's no way I'm getting approved for that at this point.

One of these days I might apply for Groove though. Aside from combining into Defensor, he seems to be a minor character, which I would be much more suited for at this point. I also have a neat story idea to introduce Defensor.

For the sake of the story idea, which Decepticon held territory is the closest to Autobot territory?

Groove I beleive has just been given away, unfortunately.

According to this, which I beleive is based off the Dorling Kindersley book, Polyhex and Tagan Hieghts are the current front line, Polyhex in particular is sandwiched between Iacon and Nova Cronum (Ironic given how quiet that thread has been recently).

Skill rating is split up alot more in this RPG between melee, tech skill, etc, and Canons can have 10s within reason/canon as far as I know.

Basically you'll never know until you apply, or ask.

But if you don't want to, I won't force you.

The skill stat represents how good or skilled a character is at there function. In Chop-Shop's case it applies to how good he is at stealing. This would be reflected in his dexterity, melee and tech skill stats. He would likely have a high dexterity and a slightly above average tech skill and average melee.

Both sides have just been through two massive offensives. It isn't surprising that things are a bit quiet after that.

That would be fine. The pregenerated ones are essentially fanmades, it's just that they're based off of a really cool guy's really cool artwork that a lot of us have admired.

Actually, we don't put much stock in stats when we look at approvals - Rank is usually the one that we're careful with. As long as the sample RP is solid and the profile's good, there'd be nothing stopping you from playing Chop Shop.

In fact, I hear rumblings of an Insecticon revival...

Excellent. I just got to thinking over the Polyhex thread, and thought I saw an oppurtunity to push things forward.

This also intruiges me, but one thing at a time I suppose.

Actually, how many of their wierder power would the insecticons have?If they had their energon-gathering and cloning abilities from the cartoon, they could quickly become an army unto themselves.

The cloning we probably wouldn't mess with at this point. It could be something that gets devised somewhere down the road, but for now...nah. We had some silliness in previous incarnations of the RPG with Insecticlone hordes doing things like conquering South America.

Yes, that's right. Conquering South America. :oops:

Energy-gathering by munching metal and so on, is somewhat more likely to be permissible. It's actually got some in-game precedent, since the Insecticons munched metal to get moving again when they revived on Earth.

I'm wondering if I could play Battletrap? I just got the toy and love him to bits, so I'd like to RP him. I see there are a fair few technological restraints in place though, so if his tech is a bit too advanced then that's fair enough

Last I checked he is in the canon roster list so he should be playable.

Incidentaly, where might one read profiles and see art for some of the Sweep characters? I've never heard of them.

Thanks! That really helps. I'd love to see 3D art for the seekers at some point because whoever did the Sweeps did an amazing job. Turmoil in particular fascinates me. I'll have to seriously consider RPing him at some point.

Thanks! It's a lot easier to role-play a character when you know what it looks like. It makes it so much easier to visualize what's going on.

That being said, I still think Turmoil is more interesting than any of the Seekers. I'll definitely have to consider RPing him.

I'll always be a Starscream fan so my loyalty falls to the Seekers but.....

Torment (a sweep) is a very satisfying Char to play I like how he’s all dangerous and dark.
It will be good to have a few more sentiant Sweeps around. Then perhaps the Seeker vs Sweeps idea can get heated up.

I'm so there... I'm so there. I've always wanted to see a Seeker vs Sweep fight. Count me in. I'll start working on my Turmoil sample post right now.
