Got a question for those with the 2th joe figures.

How to scale are they, like lets say compared to the Star Wars figures. Also if it's possible, a photo of one or two of the figures next to a star wars trooper would be a huge help.

I went to Target today and picked the Carded 25th Snake Eyes with Timber. It really is a good figure. I like it.

I can do that for you. I have not put them side by side BUT I think the newed Joes are a tad taller than SW figs.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
No, I am not friendly online or in real life.
I look forward to attending a Botcon only to settle matters with idiots in person.

Ok, cool beans thanks CB.

As for the two-packs. I dunno, I think the only 25th anniversary figures I'll be picking up are Beachhead, and Cobra Commander. The lack of articulation of the waist in exchange for the upper body articulation is pretty disconcerting.

Also, it's kinda sad how Hawk is a repaint of Snake-eyes with a new head.

Didn't Hawk share the same body with someone back in the day, before he was General Hawk?

I thought all of the original 13 shared the Snake Eyes body (Hawk included) back in the day?

I like the comic packs. Not too fond of the neon Duke or SS blue weapons though.

Comic 2 packs are cool, and it is nice to #21 depictions of SS and SE, even if we have seen them, how many times by now???

Ah, #21 Silent Interlude FTMFW. I'm going to try to pick up that issue at the Montreal Comic Convention next month. I would have bought it at the Montreal ToyCon, but I had run out of money... :P

I hope that the Comic Pack figures aren't like the Star Wars Comic Pack figures: strange and ugly paint jobs. These Comic Pack Joes don't look so nice in terms of colour, maybe they'll be better once I see them with my own eyes.

I think the idea behind these is much like the Star Wars (Marvel) comic packs... even the previous Joe three packs that Hasbro did: they're going to have garish color decos. :? I'm going to pass on all of these. That Hawk would be nice to have though. Maybe I'll get that one and customize the Scarlett.

Homer wrote:I thought all of the original 13 shared the Snake Eyes body (Hawk included) back in the day?

There were a few body parts reused. I think Stalker, SE, and Grunt had the same basic body. Short-Fuse and Zap... Flash and Grand Slam... but Rock & Roll and Clutch were unique, I think.

Frankly those 3-Pack didn't look so bad. These ones do!

I was taking some pics of figures earlier, here you go:

Roadblock is taller than any of the others. Snakes and Scarlett are about the same height (going by the tops of their heads), and Scarlett is a little taller than Han and the Clone.

Only cause she's going into combat in heels. Too bad they didn't color her lips.

I gotta say, I didn't want to at first, but I like these figures a lot. I've gone and picked up every figure save for Gold Pimpin Destro. Just when I thought I'd be able to walk away from toy collecting with the end of the Alts...

My local WMs are flooded with 1st wave (minus the Cobra Officer of course). I hope it doesn't clog the shelves too much. I want to be able to find the 2nd and 3rd waves.

Awesome, thanks Spike, so it looks like they are in scale given that Roadblock has always been a tall guy. Cool beans.

Same here. Lately, I'm lucky if I see Snake-Eyes 2. This is at every store in town, though.

Umm...the newest Sigma Six wave. Anyone else find it odd that there are two Snake Eyes in it?

Nah, it doesn't surprise me about 2 more SE's. Overkill.

I still like the Dark Ninja, even though it looks nothing like GI Joe.

Curious to see a pic of Crime Boss Destro. Other than that, pass.

Well, the stars must have aligned with the moon and planets, because I found a lone hooded Cobra Commander sitting on a peg at the Walmart I used to work at. Of course I got him, but no sign of Storm Shadow 2, or whoever else was in that wave. Flint? A Cobra soldier? I don't even know because the stores here can't keep their pegs filled.

I talked to one of my former co-workers there, and he said that they get maybe two cases every two weeks.

I found Ninja Snake Eyes, Stormshadow 2, and hooded CC, but it seems Flint and tyhe Cobra Officer are hard to come by. my guess is Cobra Grunts will fly off the shelves because some wanna build up a Cobra army for $5 a fig. Not so sure why it's so hard to find Flint other than the fact he's the only single pack to have one variant period. Cobra Officer is more a semi-repaint of the Cobra Soldier soon to be available in singles.

What's Flint's variant? I'm interested!
And didn't Snake-Eyes v2 have a variant, a differently-coloured Timber?
