An all Bumblebee Movie? Wonder what the toyline would look like
I totally agree with you Sabrblade, the movie's comics by IDW have excellently tied the continuity together and have given IMO the more meaningful characterizations of the on screen and off screen characters. So if they want to expand the Transformers universe, it has already been done wonderfully.

They specifically pointed out Bumblebee which is what people are talking about and you're criticizing them for it. Hasbro made it a point to make Bumblebee seem like he's going to be the star and put other characters between quotation marks and brushing over them... sure, those characters may not have been decided on yet, but some people are just discussing how they don't want a Bumblebee-focused movie… I don't know why you're arguing.

He never said it was going to be a standalone Bumblebee movie just a movie focusing on Bee and OTHERS.

Just because someone was an important character in a movie doesn't mean the movie was about them.



Bumblebee was not in ROTF that much compared to the rest of the films mostly due to him not being with nest for the first half of the movie and then being rather oddly absent in the final battle only taking part in fighting Rampage and Ravage and then shows up to be sad that Sam died and that's it.


Dotm also did not have that much Bumblebee before the Chicago battle.

I used to like entering the movieverse forums because all the discussion was fun, but it seriously has gotten depressing, and after the last movie's toys distribution fiasco, I don't even have expectations for the toy line, which I used to love.

Also, guys, I know we're sick of Bumblebee, but lets cut the poor guy some slack, we don't really hate him, we hate having a character shoved down our throats.

so the road to the transformers cinematic universe begins....i wonder which properties would be merged by hasbro, because we are talking about a hasbro cinematic universe, not only transformers and that's for sure.

i see a few mainly options with cameos among themselves...

1.- transformers: the top of the hasbro properties will dominate the cinematic landscape.

2.- g.i.joe: the most obvious crossover with the franchise, as in the comics has been for several years as well as some cool interesting plots.

3.- m.a.s.k.(mobile armored strike kommand): the newcomer. a former gijoe member who is assigned to a secret special mission unit by using the first prototypes of cybertonian-earth based vehicles, to stop the evil terrorist cell (not an army as cobra or destro) of former destro's iron grenadier, miles "general" meyhem', leader of v.e.n.o.m.(vicious enemy network of meyhem), a group of mercenaries and outcasted dreadnoks who have also disserted or work undercover with stolen technology from cobra/destro that is also derived from autobot/decepticon? salvage.

4.- the inhumanoids: the spin-off of spin-offs. u.n's earth corps (or joe's) dr. herc armstrong investigates several mutations on earth's ecosystems, caused by decepticon continously substraction of energon resources or perhaps some kind of space virus/ alien life forms broght from cybertronians, that is creating inhumanoids, threatening human populances around the world.

ok, that's all i can think about right now, maybe a visionaries movie theme could be tossed out somewhere but, i couldn't figure it out where.

YOU KNOW, WHEN THE TRANSFORMERS "BAYVERSE" DEBUTED ON SCREEN BACK IN 1997, I ALMOST HAD A NERDGASM WHEN ALL MY CHILDHOOD TOYS BECAME "ALMOST REAL". OVER THE YEARS, THE BAY MOVIES HAVE ACHIEVED TWO THINGS:

FIRST: PLACING THE SPOTLIGHT OVER TRANSFORMERS AS THE WORLD'S MOST PROMISING FRANCHISE AFTER STAR WARS, AND INDEED IT IS.
SECOND: CREATING THE BEST CONVERGENCE BETWEEN REAL WORLD AND FANTASY WORLD, VIA STUNNING VISUAL FX).

BUT THE LOWDOWN OF THOSE MOVIES HAVE BEEN A COHESIVE STORY, CREATING A LANDSLIDE THAT HAS SUGGESTED OR FORCED TO REBOOT THE FRANCHISE, EVEN BEFORE THEIR 10th ANNIVERSARY IN THE SILVER SCREEN.

IF THE GUYS WHO ARE HANDLING NOW, OR TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE REINS FROM THE FORMER MASTER OF EXPLOSIVE NONSENSE (M.BAY) , THEN THEY MUST TAKE LITERALLY ONE STEP BACK AND TWO FORWARD, SO WE THE FANS COULD FEEL SATISFIED WITH THE NEW PROPOSAL.

NOW STAR WARS WILL BE BOOSTED WITH NEW BLOOD, A NEW VISION AND IT LOOKS TO BE WELL ON ITS WAY TO LEGENDARY GREATNESS, JUST LIKE IN THE BEGINNING.

TRANSFORMERS FORMER GLORY DIDN'T HAPPEN WITH MICHAEL BAY, HIS MOVIES ARE REALLY THRASH, ON A B-MOVIE LEVEL THAT IS . THE GOLDEN AGE OF THE FRANCHISE BEGAN IN 1984 AND ENDED IN 2000 WITH BEAST WARS. THAT'S THE GOLDEN AGE, NOW IT'S TIME TO MAKE HONOR TO THE REAL G1 SAGA.
