It really is stupid and pointless in talking about a canceled series.
I mean I dont know if they have plans on making a DVD Movie of the show how they did with Teen Titans or is Animated really finished for good.
I say that Animated is finished for good, also I say it will be quiet sometime before the next series in transformers.
Also I think this is good it give us a chance to catch up on everything and it gives them a chance to recharge there batteries and take thier time on coming out with the next transformers.
Also dont expect nothing until 2010 atleast.
Rather or not the new series will be on CN or the new Hasbro/Discovery channel is unkown it could be seen on both channels until something is worked out.
I have no idea what is next for transformers or the Discovery/Hasbro channel or if they just plan on just showing past shows from the Hasbro Library.
Or if they will ever be any new shows beyond animated or was animated the final show.
I guess nothing will be known until they get off thier buts and make an announcement about what they have planed for the future or what they have instore for the next thing in transformers.
I really dont care right now as it is way to far away, also transformers isnt the only thing on or coming on.
Also they are plenty to keep us busy until then so quiet talking about a canceled series.
My guess is because, back when the episodes were airing, no one would post between the episode airings because they knew more episodes were coming and were wanting to wait till the next episode would air so they could talk about that new episode. This also applies for the big gap between seasons 2-3. They knew new episodes were coming, just not for a long time.Rial Vestro wrote:I have a question and this has nothing to do with what Rodimus said about not talking about canciled series.
I was just wandering, when Transformers Animated was actully on the air it seemed like this thread was only really active after each new episode then die down and go out of use till the next episode came out. Now that there are no new episodes it seems like this topic is getting alot more use.
I'm just wandering why it seems like there's more frequent posting when the show isn't getting any new episodes than when it was? Even the huge gap between season 2 and 3 had alot of down time for this topic with verry few posts talking about promotional art for season 3.

And now that there are no more new episodes coming, people feel they can talk without having to wait for a new episode to air to have something to talk about. They also feel that there should be more new episodes, so they're now speaking their mind about wanting more episodes.
But this is just my theory, as I can't speak for everyone.

Same with a tv series, people can look back on it as a whole and give it a much deeper analysis and discussion, whereas during a series run, you can discuss what's happened and speculate on what will happen, and I guess most people don't like to speculate.
Which is like the artist thing, their works are complete and can be discussed and analysed.
Long story short, people like to discuss more of what was, and less on what MAY be.

Um, no. What about ROTF? You act as though it isn't a big deal.Rodimus2006 wrote:I am hoping we get some sort of announcement soon but with Revenge coming out at the end of the month and also the re-releases of Generation 1 on DVD again I dont think we will be hearing anything about the next series or if they will be a new series for quiet sometime.
This could mean that Transformers could be in stasis mode for awhile.
They've already stated that Animated's cartoon series is done and over with. The only new Animated stuff we'll be getting are toys.Rodimus2006 wrote:I just want an announcment stating the status of Transformers, rather or not it will have a new show or not, or a direct-to-dvd movie of animated closing out the series properly which I doubt that will ever happen but you cant never tell these days.
Hasbro is intentionally not telling us what their plans for 2010 are, as they want us to currently focus on ROTF.Rodimus2006 wrote:Or the name of the next show, also the story plot and introduction of the characters and new characters, also rather or not if the new show will be on Cartoon Network or will it be on the upcoming Hasbro/Kids Discovery Channel whatever they plan on calling the new channel.
Or they could show the new show on both CN and the new Hasbro/Kids Discovery channel, All we do no for certain that the new channel will feature past shows from the Hasbro Library and also GI Joe.
It's not that odd. We know what the reason is.Rodimus2006 wrote:But what is not known is if Transformers RiD will be seen or not cause as people knows it is own bye Disney for some odd reason.
Like I just said, they won't tell us anything yet due to ROTF being the current franchise to focus on.Rodimus2006 wrote:I just hope something is announced soon to give us something new to talk about since animated is now canceled and finished.
Whatever the future is it will be a while before some new announcements will be made cause the new Hasbro channel isnt going to be ready until 2010.
There is another new Transformers franchise that's just starting up! It's called...Rodimus2006 wrote:So another long waiting peroid awaits us wants again.

I'm pretty sure that's a homemade set. The blue background kinda gives it away (the real sets use the Detroit background).Random wrote:TFA Season 3 dvd:

No clue about this site, as I've never heard of it before. From the look of it, they are homemade disks. Case and whatnot looks decent though.

Of course. I never said that season 3 wouldn't get released on DVD. All I said was that the season 3 DVD set that Random showed us was homemade and unofficial.Rodimus2006 wrote:Look they are going to be a season 3 of animated on DVD cause the 1st 2 sets are out on DVD. How's that relevant? But I don't think we have to worry about that happening in this case.Rodimus2006 wrote:But I have seen sets done like that seasons 1 and 2 of SeaQuest were done but for some reason we are not getting a season 3 it dosent suprise me anyways cause it is owned bye Universal and they suck and making DVD sets and they are slower than crap about doing them also.
We don't know. Just be patient.Rodimus2006 wrote:The only question is when will animated season 3 be released I say end of the year or 1st of 2010 sometime or another.
Well, when is Comic-Con, anyway?Rodimus2006 wrote:Also I hope they make an announcement at Comic-Con this year but I dont think they will, they probably wont make an announcemt until the end of the year or 1st of next year about the future of transformers and what they have planed in 2010.
I'd say that we could expect to here something around either late Fall this year, Winter this year, or Spring 2010. But that's just my guess.Rodimus2006 wrote:I dont expect an announcement for sometime so it is going to remain quiet on the cartoon front of things for transformers.
Get this, I went to Sam's Club yesterday, and they had the new G1 season 1 DVD set available! It was much smaller than the Rhino version and significantly cheaper! And yet, I didn't buy it, as I own the Rhino set.Rodimus2006 wrote:But Revenge is all most upon us and plus the re-releases of Generation 1 throughout 2009 also and revenge the video game also plus revenge on DVD & Blue-Ray maybe bye the end of the year and then animated season 3 will also be on DVD sometime soon.
I'm sue Animated will continue to play in reruns for quite a while. And what of all the other Transformers siblings? (ignore the other relations for now, focus on the siblings)Shadowman wrote:And "brother" may not have meant a family tie. I mean, Obi-Wan referred to Anakin as his brother, Hulk Hogan calls people brother, and I'm pretty sure "Band of Brothers" isn't about a bunch of brothers.

Well, even though it hasn't been openly stated yet, what if the movie leaders DO have a relation?Shadowman wrote:Sabrblade wrote:And what of all the other Transformers siblings? It's irrelevant. Just because Transformers have siblings doesn't mean that can't still call each other "brother," much in the same way humans might call each other "brother" despite no relation.
