Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Nothing quite like that new toy smell, amiright?

Haha, no, but close enough. And by the way, there is nothing wrong with that. I bought 500$ comics just so I could see what it was like to read them in their original release (the reprints have white glossy back stock paper which makes everything look so much worse and dated for some reason).
Dagon wrote:Not sure if anyone has said it, and I apologize for not looking through the thread first, but one of the IDW issues from maybe a year ago, right after Dark Cybertron, had Rumble and Frenzy turn into motorbikes. So, prepare for the possibility that CW Rumble/Frenzy may be repaints of the fairly terrible Groove figure.

Yeah and maybe another Primus, I want one with modern engineering. A Titan class one, like Metroplex!
You would be surprised how well Primus can hold a pose. That cybertron mold (and line as a whole) is a model of modern engineering while maintaining simplicity. Most of the combiner war vehicles take from that hotshot mold 10 year later.
I've been wanting to get that Primus figure, but have never been able to find him for a reasonable price anywhere. Anyone seen him for a good price anywhere? Like for under $150.00?
Your best odds for him are local places. Either yard sales, church sales, second hand stores, flee markets and local adds. What is great about him is that his guns are attached and his key is really big so the only thing you are usually missing are 2 missiles and maybe his key. Actually, e-bay has him loose for 30$ so that's fun, it makes up for the shipping cost to ship this giant. Here is the cheapest one that is complete. And if I you intend on playing with your figures, then there is no point getting them sealed MISB because they will lose all their value once you open the box. But then again, I know some people who want them super mint just to be the first to open them

Man it's tempting me! I wanna save up for Devastator though. IDK!

I'm not trying to control your life or anything, but I'd go for Primus, he may go up in price later and $30 ain't bad for a planet... Plus it won't kill your wallet THAT much.

Walky likes him because he loves that mold and he loves that shade of orange. Maybe you're the same?
Kinda sad to hear about all the GDO stuff getting redundified so soon. They seemed like great options at the time, but then Hasbro turns around and makes PROPER versions of everybody and it's kind of like "Well what was the point of making those redecos?" Ah hindsight.

I do hear that it's an excellent mold. I hope to own it one day, whether as Hot Spot or someone else. It could make a great pre-Defensor version of the character. But boy, the CW Hot Spot mold seems pretty great as well.

Shockwave7 wrote:Sigh.... so where are the Wave 3 deluxes? Only a tiny smattering of retailers had them on shelves (very briefly) and that only in midwestern states. For the most part, all the major retailers are still dinking around stocking movie4 crud that they can't even give away, and RiD stuff that only kiddies really like.
The Combiner Wars/Generations line has been disappearing from shelves almost as soon as they pop up, except maybe the wave1 voyagers. The wave 2 stuff is still harder than heck to find, and the wave3 stuff - well, you wonder if it's even out at all. Practically the only place you CAN get the wave3s is through the 3rd party websites and their hyper-inflated prices. Hasbro has still not given their OWN online distributors access to the wave 3 deluxes.
