Now that should be interesting to see
PrimeVsPrime wrote:Its easily the best mainline Blitzwing we’ve ever had. Scale is the same as astrotrain. 2 massive energon hands, 1 sword & 2 purple guns. Only “downside” (and even this is nitpicking) is that the shoulders are fixed in place (like G2 laserprime) so you need to flap panels up to make the arms move forward & backwards which can be annoying when posing

Seems like a weird complaint. Sure he can't pick his arms up over his head, but they aren't fixed.

It's the shoulders, not the arms. It's that the shoulders have been changed from being working shoulders part of the arms into armor kibble now separate from the arms, no longer a part of them, which alters the character's iconic silhouette and restricts arm movement now that big shoulder pads are in way of letting his arms raise up, instead of those shoulder pads being the shoulders themselves.Emerje wrote:Isn't saying the arms are fixed in place because you have to move little panels out of the way to move them the same as saying a lot of figures have fixed legs because you have to move a skirt panel and still can't quite get them to sit? Yesssss!. Can't wait for Blitzwing!.
I'm in sore need of a replacement since my T-30 version has started falling apart.
The Rubber parts seem to be drying out and breaking off. The Entire head fell off. I think it was a bad idea to leave him in Jet mode for so long.

The way he described them as "massive" makes me think they might be big "Hulk hands" style gloves that attach to his real hands.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Energon Hands? The damn hands that are supposed to hold the weapons are clear plastic? WTH Hasbro

Given the exact quote is "2 massive energon hands" (emphasis added), I don't think they're the figure's actual hands, but his Energon Weapon for the line-wide gimmick: basically a pair of Energon Hulk hands, like people like to do for CW Rook and his combiner hand.
Or I could be wrong and he's referring to the figure's actual massive hands.
This is exactly what was rumored by leakers before now, yes, Blitzwing comes with big Hulk hand gloves that also function as missile pods for tank mode. This is just the first it's been confirmed that they're his Energon weapons.Sabrblade wrote:The way he described them as "massive" makes me think they might be big "Hulk hands" style gloves that attach to his real hands.

That's pretty disappointing.
I'm just hoping that his appearance is so good that it's easy to over look.
Very anxious to see him now!
For Optimus it didn't used to be. It used to be his actual shoulders.Emerje wrote:But that's just it, it's shoulder armor, not his actual shoulders.

It's a Prime, so it'd sell well, plus it's a version of the character that fans like, and hasn't gotten a full bells and whistles update. TR and Legends were close, but were missing the cab bot and it sounds like Motormaster's gonna be close to hitting a similar transformation. Plus, people loved Weaponizers, so why not bring the original Weaponizer, Godbomber back?

Because the upcoming commander is Motormaster, maybe next year would be another combiner team? Like maybe the Protectobots? I sincerely hope for Ginrai too But I'd rather prefer for them to not skimp anything and go with a full TITAN price-point boxset. Having the Ginrai powermaster, the main transtrector, the trailer, and a leader sized Godbomber so that the fully combined mode would be big like Jetfire, but MASSIVE and BEEFY with no hollow parts.
So why not have next year's Commander be Deathsaurus for HASLAB Starsaber to have his rival?
