If the leg stunticons can he attached to the front, and someone makes an upgrade kit for a blackjack drone, I'll say it's perfect.

Normal. That previous side of the aisles have already been served with CW Menasor. 3 times if you count Hasbro retail, Hasbro G2 gift set, and Takara's Unite Warriors. That Legacy Menasor is completely different from the previous ones so the ones who hated the CW can get the Legacy and those who don't like the Legacy can keep their CW.

Everybody win!... Appart our wallet, of course.

I wouldn't say everyone wins. I don't think many people liked CW Menasor at all, including those that prefer the Scramble City style. CW Menasor was just bad. Legacy was an opportunity to improve on it, and that's what a lot of us were hoping for. A lot of CW was solid, and I can't agree that just scrapping the entire concept was the right way to go.

For me only Motormaster was a failure in CW. The limb bots were perfectly fine. Once the actual team was together (Off Road can screw all the way off along with Alpha Bravo) my only complaint besides the shoddy Motormaster torso was the fact that the combiner joints in the legs were visible. But that goes for almost all the combiners, and I got them covered up. I still think if that mold wasn't prioritized for Optimus, we would have gotten a different and probably better Motormaster in CW.

I think they are basing it off reactions and preorders for both Dragstrip and Motormaster.

Well received is another word for "it sells".

For all concerned, I got my Jhiaxus today - I wouldn't have done, but I got an Amazon giftcard with nothing to use it on.

I am really enjoying him so far, the yellow paint is quite something to look at. His head still bugs me, but as Thew would say: He has a lot of personality. I actually love his vehicle mode and definitely approve of anything that reuses this mold. But I gotta know, is there a reason why one of his guns is the width of paper, is it like a lore thing?

Kinda, it's the Energon weapon that they forgot to include until the last second. If you wanna headcanon it, it could be G1 Reedman from ROTF's alt mode

To be fair, CW was really great, and really flawed. Too often the ratchet joints in the torso's hips were way too loose as well as the combiner posts on the deluxes. Then too many deluxes had a tendency to have their legs split appart in combined mode.

TlDr; the main problem with CW was STABILITY issues. So it's no wonder that the design team went back to the drawing board.

Not surprising, the most SOLID CW combiner was Devastator, who used none of the CW functions.

to be fair, I have found my Legacy Menasor likes to lean forward a bit. The ratchet joints, if anything, are probably a little TOO tight so getting him to stand straight up without a forward lean takes a bit of work.

This may also simply be a case of adding Wild Rider and Breakdown will bring enough weight to straighten him up, who knows.

We need to wait an eternity for the combiner to be complete so that fair comparison can finally be made. But one thing is sure is that Legacy Menasor will be way more stable than any CW combiners.

ALL of my CW combiners will ragdoll themselves like a GTA death is they don't stand up perfectly straight. As if despite the added articulation points, the final results can't be better than the G1 originals.

I have a feeling that Iguanus is going to turn out to be the exception to the norm in his being a Core instead of a Deluxe or bigger, with Hasbro choosing to make him a Core based on his altmode being a motorcycle, like how they first reasoned back in Combiner Wars making Groove a Legends class toy.

Transformers Legacy Commander Class Motormaster Found at Target

Fellow Seibertronian Roadbuster wote on our boards of their discovery of Commander class Motormaster on their toyhunt. The toy was found at Target.

Roadbuster wrote:I went to Target looking for Sludge. Left with Motormaster. So keep your eyes peeled.

My target has had them for a few days now in the back room, but refuse to pull them out. some employees are seeing the release date on the website and saying he wont get pulled out until then. others are saying he is part of the reset, and they are not allowed to get the stuff from the reset. and they have 1 person working on resets, so who knows when they will get to it. I am checking every day assuming someone is going to not give a crap and stock it any day now.

Like, very inaccurate to either the original toy or his cartoon face.

It's the nose and teeth. Both are triangular in the new toy, while they were square in both the original toy and the show.

The teeth being triangular is toy accurate. It's what the OG toy would have looked like if the mouth wasn't painted so lazily.

It's the cheekbones. The original toy and the cartoon face both had smooth faces. The new toy has very pronounced cheekbones that give the face a very bumpy appearance.

I know, it not accurate in every aspect, I was only referring to the teeth which were misidentified as being inaccurate. At least for that aspect we have an explanation.

Anyways, while not accurate to one specific source, I think the headsxulpt looks good. I love BW Megatron and this is a nice addition in the Legacy of BW Megs facesculpts for me.

I'm so excited to get MM in-hand. Sadly it'll probably be a bit till I get him at one of my local Walmarts, since I live in Tennessee and all the Walmarts in my area take a while for new figures to get in stock. We also just got Legacy deluxe wave 1.5 a week ago.
