It could still just be a year, which would mean 16 deluxes, 8 voyagers and 5-8 leaders. Especially if Tidal Wave turns out to be a leader which makes more and more sense the way I see it, since both he and boardside have a mode tha is just a base (folded out plane/ship)

Now lets look at all these rumours and what we know:

The sharkticon is a leged figure so he could be in any wave.

Very nice that we are getting characters that are long overdue, but making them all Headmasters is overkill.

As someone pointed out there is no chance Takara can make them have regular transformations as there is no room for a head to store. Maybe they can do some retooling?

My guess is that the person saw the toy and mistook the lion for a wolf. After all, others on here who saw the Alpha Trion artwork said that his lion head shoulders look more like wolf head to them. So it could just be one person seeing one thing and thinking it's another thing.

OK. Ya know after scrolling up and looking at the art, I actually can see that might be a wolf. Long muzzle, ears are set back pretty far. The mane is deceptive.
Well now I'm even more excited to Alpha Tryiton! I like wolves, and lions, tigers, and bears... OH MY!

On some or maybe all figures, especially the Leaders with their helmets, they could somehow use the place where the Headmasters' cockpits are.

A LOT of the new toys were Headmasters. I suspect kind of like how right now everything combines, next year everything will be a Headmaster. Seemed that way anyways. Stuff that was a Targetmaster or Powermaster before are becoming Headmasters. Even the Monsterbot Doublecross is becoming a Headmaster.

I did not see Abominus. But I am hopeful that having a two headed dragon like Doublecross means he'll get redone as Hun-Grrr.

Wow, I was not expecting this to blow up like it has. All I was really trying to do was request some Digibash art from Siegfried07, over at TFW2005. I'm super excited by what I saw last night, and just wanted some pics on my computer to look at.

That said, I'm noticing some misconceptions. The first of which is a lot of references to Size Class. I never really mentioned sizes, so not sure where those ideas are even coming from.

Me saying a "blue PM Prime" was just a slip of the tongue. I meant to say a "blue U.M." Again, I was being kind of fast and loose, because I was just trying to ask for art. And IIRC Siegfried already did Diaclone digibashes of Prime and Magnus. Thus I wasn't spening a lot of time on it.

Tidal wave not seperating into the dark fleet is a travesty.. God damn I wish someone would make an upgrade kit for armada TW to give him knees and let his comibining gimmick work with CW armada megs since this is the only TW we will be getting..

Broadside should have totally been leader class.. Dont know how much better he could be compared to FP assaulter but I guess ill have to wait and see since I do have issues with FP assaulter being so heavy and some questionable design flaws..

Tank Jet Megs/Blitzwing.. if it turns out great then I might have to choose which to sell off.. Gen Blitzwing or Megasteel Megs.

If Laser Prime turns out amazing and they do a scourge repaint.. *sighs as I look at my recently repainted battle tanker and ex black convoy*

Glad Hot Rod isnt a remold of chromedome. Getaway being a remold of chromedome worries me, hope they have the shoulderpads, meaning it'd have to be a pretty damn extensive remold.. especially if he gets a windscreen chest.

Im thinking Triggerhappy will be a remold of Highbrow.

Hope weirdwolf will be repainted or remolded into something else.. I have Quad U and I have no intention of letting it go.

Oh, I forgot to mention, Laser Prime / Star Convoy comes with 2 heads. One is like a normal Prime. The other has that Star Convoy forehead crest thing.

Did not see a lot of this coming, but if this this true, I greatly look forward to more of the 13, Broadside, and Hot Rod. I love that he sounds slightly IDW cause I love that design. Got some great potential here! though why there would be another Prime and then a Megatron (both triple changers) in this line I cannot fathom.

Size was not mentionned, and as proof I kept your entire quote for anyone to read. Any size is just guess work from me and others. Voyager for Megatron/Blitzwing makes perfect sense since its a triple changer with 2 alt modes. Leader for Braodside makes sense since not only does it work with scale (of him and tidal wave) but it also works since one of their alt modes could be simply a base, which is what the aircraft carrier was (actually I realize this now both toys have a aicraft carrier mode).

I am greatly anticipating Tidalwave, would be awesome to see him in TT's epic color scheme, even better if hasbro released him in cartoon accurate colors too

Oh, I hadn't meant to point fingers at anyone for mentioning the size thing. Just, what I saw was usually a Skype pic of a computer monitor of a figure on an otherwise white page. So there was nothing to let me know how big anything was.

As I was skimming through this thread I just noticed some fans seemed dissapointed by things like Tidal Wave not being bigger. That sort of thing. If anything I just wanted to give those guys hope.

Now, someone asked for specifics about Tidal Wave... what I saw looked like the old Tidal Wave toy, photoshopped to have G1 Broadside's head on it. For the vehicle mode, they showed what my friend said was the USS Flagg. So in that case, it wasn't really the actual toy. It just seemed like a thing someone put together for investors (who were not TF fans). The jet they showed with that for instance, was from TFPrime (I think). Dreadwing? Darkwing? Whoever that guy was who wound up as a zombie in an alternate dimension.

I will do my best to answer questions.

This really could be done as a base mode instead of a second alt mode which means it could be a Leader just as much as a voyager. Though a Leader makes more sense if we are going by the fact that Titans Return is only lasting 4 waves and the slots for Voyagers are all being taken.

To answer your question, Doublecross looked very good to me. Sort of what you'd expect, he was basically a bulkier/thicker looking version of the G1 toy. My buddy was telling me they got rid of some kibble by incorporating it into the lower legs in robot mode.

His head comes off and transforms into "the white lion from Battle Beasts." he said a lot of these are very Japanese oriented, so Doublecross in particular is an homage to an episode of G1 from Japan.

Which reminds me, I forgot to mention this anywhere else, and am not sure how to put it into words... I seemed to see art for Siren's body. Like it was one of those shots like we've been seeing, where the head is landing on a body, with little rockets and stuff coming out of it's neck. But the center of the image was kind of just faded out. Again, like a placeholder for a later image. Like they painted the background, and made the area where the body would go lighter. Really hard to describe. But definitely seemed to indicate a Siren body is coming.

So again, ore Japanese stuff.

As is going to be more cartoon than toy accurate in this line, that's very likely but let's see how it shapes up.

I love the Generations version. I think he's great, except of the shoulder flaw, and I really like the face gimmick.
