It also has to do with Tracks's robot mode being a little on the short side in the cartoon.Gauntlet101010 wrote:Okay, so it is a small car. That does make me feel better about it, thanks.

It helps that they were originally designed to be lifeless mech machines piloted by humans instead of living beings.Till-all-R1 wrote:One aspect i really liked about G1 was the streamline look with a lot few break lines for the transformation areas.

Alternators Tracks is not in those pictures. That big one is Masterpiece Tracks. Alternators Tracks is enormous.o.supreme wrote:Overcracker, you are messin' with my head, unless I am, really wrong... Your Original Tracks which should have the flame on the hood doesn't, but your Alternator Tracks which should not have the flame does...???
I mean they are your toys, you can do whatever you want. But did you purchase them that way, or is that our own customization?

oh, ok I guess I got confused because he mentioned Alternators in his post, and not MP. ... I used to have all the Alternators actually, and some Binaltech (basically variants that Hasbro didn't offer). But without others of the same character to compare them to, I guess it didn't look so large to me. I guess I'm more surprised that MP is that small.

Yeah the alt modes were prioritized so they could fit with non transforming toys. Makes for an awesome effect of a literally robot in disguise.
Makes me think, top 5 G1 car modes I do love that G1 lancia.
Had to use links since The Allspark's new attachments system no longer lets attached images embed on other sites.

Does the post link above the quote work, at least? Or it that borked too?

King Kuuga wrote:Well, after telling myself I wasn't interested in him, I saw Kingdom Rodimus Prime on the shelf at walmart the other day, and bought him on a whim. I figured if I didn't like him I could just sell him to a friend. So I open him up, and fool around with him for a while, and...... he's great. An engineering marvel, like SS86 Rodimus on steroids (and certainly a lot of shared engineering ideas). The trailer is very solid, it's what I wanted the Earthrise OP trailer to be like. I also don't really have an issue with the trailer tabbing together like some people do. It's a teensy bit gappy but if I squeeze it all comes together. My main gripe is the lack of easy internal storage for his accessories. Yeah there's that tray on the undercarriage that stores the matrix and smoke effects, and you lay the sword in there loose, but there's no good place to stick his rifle, folded or unfolded. Even with the plethora of 5mm ports inside the trailer, none of them quite fits while allowing the sides to close and the artillery mount to remain inside. I've just stuck it in the back hatch for the time being.
Also much like Prime's trailer I have no idea what I'm going to do with this thing 99% of the time when Rodimus is just standing on the shelf with the other movie guys. Maybe I need to reorganize again and relocate my combiners.
Anyway. Great toy, feels worth the price, recommended if you're on the fence.
