Fellow Seibertronian JTPrime17 has some new product codes to share. Three of these are for the Studio Series line.
We have Studio Series 86 voyager class Sweep and Wreck Gar. Wreck Gar being a voyager class is rather interesting but then again remember that the class now refers to the price point and not the size, meaning that Wreck Gar can be as big as the voyager Hot Rod we got earlier this year if he proves to have more parts than regular deluxe toys.

Tra Gen Studio series 86 voyager Wreck gar
Product number: F0792

Tra Gen studio series 86 voyager Sweep
Product number:F0793

We also have Bumblebee Movie Thrust which was part of the rumours (same as the other two) but as an exclusive. Turns out that, according to JTPrime, this would not be an exclusive:

He popped upped under the regular retail voyager assortment product number across various retailers and distributors.

Tra Gen studio series Tf6 voyager Thrust
Product number: F0791

Also remember that Thrust in the Bumblebee movie was not red, but green. You can see an image of him below. Of course, we have no clue what this toy's colors will ultimately be and if he will have the slight remolding to homage the conehead look.

Lastly we have another product coming to the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line. This is an Evergreen 4 pack which makes sense given how Evergreen Bumblebee is pictured on all this subline's boxes. While there is no indication of what exactly this contains, the $50 price point and title could reffer to a reissue of warrior toys in the Cyberverse line or figures from the Authentics line, or both, since both use the Evergreen design.

Tra BB Evergreen Warrior Multipack

MSRP $49.99

I'm still waiting for non-BB/non-86 stuff though to the credit of Thrust he isn't just some G1-esque snore guy and at least homaged Armada.

If that green guy really is Thrust, he looks like a straight repaint of Blitzwing.

I wonder about the SS86 TF:TM Sweep. Didn't the Sweeps looks just like Scourge? Would this be some retool of Scourge then? Obviously it's meant to be a troop builder, so I'm not sure if Voyager class was smart. Deluxe would have been better.

I’m thinking the face sculpt will be different. I’m also hoping for some other differences... While I think you’re right that they should basically look the same, I’d be okay if Sweeps was a slightly darker/deeper Blue color.
Otherwise, what, a different shaped blast effect??
Either way, I won’t be surprised if I get a couple.
Displayed with Scourge, Cyclonus, & hopefully an awesome Galvatron...
That will be a sweet little shelf display!!!

Gonna be cheeky and suggest either just a moustache:

Nah... if anything just lighter colors (maybe an alternate color model?) and a new Effect Part.

I don't think anyone's in the hole for buying multiple Scourges to be Sweeps, that's still valid. Especially since this is probably going to be a redeco and thus a bit less screen-accurate.

Wreck-Gar being a Voyager makes sense to me. There's parts count to think about with his G1 design, and it would put him at a good size compared to SIEGE Springer.

Easier to afford for troop-building certainly, but it would have made Scourge come up short next to Galvatron as the Titans Return mold does, and making a separate Deluxe mold for the Sweeps wouldn't milk the Scourge mold further.

They might be thinking a redeco is a better way to get more sales from the mold than just repacking Scourge, given his shelfwarming during Titans Return.

I would bet on them using this deco:

And a new head with a face based on this:

Honestly though with Voyager-size (or larger) army-builder types, I think it would be good if HasTak made cheap model kit counterparts.

On the subject of figures we already know things about, I'm guessing that SS86 Blurr cannot use the prow of his car mode as a shield.

If Thrust is the green guy, I may pick it up to go with my Bayverse Decepticons. It's kinda cool looking, we'll see.

It does seem like we won't have any Bayverse voyagers in 2021 though, which is really a bummer. We do have Dino coming, so that's good.

In other news, I just finished painting the Arcee triplets! I actually really like these figures, they're small but very detailed.

Not sure how I’d feel about Wreck-Gar: I like the 2010 Deluxe and how it can ride itself, so this one would have to be able to replicate that in order for me to buy into it.

Wonder how different they’d make the Sweeps, hopefully not too different.

I’ll always welcome more Seekers, and Thrust will be no different.

Good point on Wreck-Gar, he did indeed ride himself in the Movie.

But how much would they change? SS prides itself on being screen accurate, so were the Sweeps different than Scourge?
I would bet on them using this deco:

Isn't that too far off the screen accuracy? I think if the deco got changed, it would be just darker or lighter blues.

As for the voyager/deluxe debate, you're probably right that it costs Hasbro less to just redeco the Scourge figure and get more out of the same mold, but I don't think it would sell as many units as a voyager at $30 as it would as a deluxe at $20. But maybe the price difference and the savings on not having to design a new mold would make up for it.

Personally, I'll buy Scourge and I already have a TR Scourge and I'll get 1 more to act as Sweeps, because I also think Scourge should have a distinction as the leader by being bigger and looking a bit different.

My other question is whether they will do the same thing with Cyclonus and give him his "armada" from TF:TM, but that maybe a discussion for the Kingdom thread.

Blurr's prow is technically detachable, but it's not meant to come off and doesn't have any way to attach to his arm or be held.

They don't seem to care as much with the mold-milk redecoes - just look at Shadow Raider. They also blew it super hard with Crankcase (redecoing him from Crowbar instead of Berserker). The fact that they're producing a "Sweep" release at all instead of just repacking Scourge says to me that accuracy is being suborned for maximizing profit.

I really do think TR Scourge shelfwarming might be playing a role in their going this route.

Well, the whole point of HasTak even doing a separate Sweep release in the first place would be to try and squeeze more money out of the Scourge mold.

However it turns out.. between the original Scourge release and this Sweep release I want a total of at least five. One to be Scourge himself, four for the four Sweeps who draw and quarter Ultra Magnus.

Yeah, definitely sticking to my repainted TR Blurr.

I'll take a Sweep or two. I can't imaging they'll look too different from the regular Scourge. Hopefully it's just be a minor change. As fun as a mustacioed or clean shaven Sweep was I'd prefer a more movie accurate look.

I'll get Wreck-Gar too. Why not?

That was my thought. In the movie there were four. Scourge and the three Sweeps. The show didn't seem to know who all were the sweeps so there were more. I'm good with three, but I'm gonna have two Scourges to sell off now. Depending on whether I feel up to buying three more Voyagers I technically already have.

Molotow chrome markers are great, they don't do so hot over large areas though. Unless, of course, you use the refills through an airbrush thinned with Mr. Levelling Thinner, then it's THE best chrome on the market bar none.

Amen to this.
Seriously.
I’m even wanting Swoop to be leader class. If not, he should be a really large Voyager...
In my mind (& memory), he’s not substantially smaller than the other 4. & if this means his Dino mode is slightly too big, so be it!!
I also don’t care if the other Dinobots end up being in a different line; as long as the quality is there, who cares if the SS86 name, packaging, etc. ends?
The more I’ve thought about this, the more I’ve realized how excited I am about this possibility finally becoming reality in the next couple years...
It’s just been way too long of a wait.
Yeah, all 5 may end up totaling $250, but if the others can deliver like this SS86 Grimlock, I’m all in.

I don't think he's much smaller than the others either, I'd love a big Dino mode for Swoop, they can go all out with the wings. That reminds me of seeing swoop on his back in Dino mode flapping his wings attempting to get up lol I don't remember if that was the movie or the cartoon. I dont care if they're in a different line either, exactly like you said its about the quality. Cyclonus and Scourge are in different lines and it makes no difference to me, they're both great.
I've never had all of the dinobots, mostly because there was never a set of them that was worth it. If the other 4 are like Grimlock though, I won't hesitate one bit.
If anything I'm still deciding whether or not I'll only get the other 4 or still get grimlock, since I already have the MP version and all the figures coming out are gonna do me some damage as it is

I think that happened in the movie...

I’d recommend you get SS86 Grimlock.
And if you can hold-out, maybe wait to open him until you have a couple of the others. Or at least Slag.
That way you can see how they’re going to look with your MP Grimlock.
But my gut says you may appreciate having all 5 in scale with each other.
And think about this; if you can wait and keep SS86 Grimlock sealed, then end up wanting to sell him,
I would feel very confident that someone would gladly take him off your hands for $50 or more, even over a year from now. And as the other 3 start being released (fingers crossed), that will make selling this new Grimlock even easier if that’s what you choose.

YESSSS!!!! Sure, lots of inconsistencies in the cartoon. But either way, Hastak should go all out for these 5.
I would be shocked if any ended up shelf-warming.

Sounds like a pretty solid idea!
I will say that as much as I love my MP Grimlock his loose hips and ridiculously tight knee ratchets can be annoying at times, along with his hands.
And I do like the Wheelie that comes with SS86 version, and that he has more options for adding weapons

Agreed!!!!

I will say that as much as I love my MP Grimlock his loose hips and ridiculously tight knee ratchets can be annoying at times, along with his hands.
And I do like the Wheelie that comes with SS86 version, and that he has more options for adding weapons

I know it’s easy for me to say; I don’t have a MP Grimmy, & haven’t spent that money...
Maybe it’ll be a game time decision for you. If you see him in a store, you’ll know if you should get him by your excitement... & if that somehow ends up over-hyped, a return in simple enough.

It might be a little while longer until we hear anything new for leader class or the dinobots. Studio Series traditionally only as 2 waves per year for leaders, whereas the deluxes and voyagers have 4 waves per year. The next wave looks like it is only B-127 and Dino for Deluxe and Bee Cybertronian Starscream repacked with SS86 Hot Rot for Voyagers.

However, the next bunch revealed or leaked should have deluxe through Leader and would generally be available around July, so I would expect some news to start trickling in around March/April. Also keep in mind, we kind of found out about Slag a bit early compared to when he is due for release. We basically found out about him and Grimlock at the same time, but they are about 6 months away from each other as far as being in stores. That makes the lack of news on him seem even more glaring.

Unfortunately that also means it will be a bit of a wait to get all the dinobots if Hasbro keeps only doing 1 leader every 6 months. Let's hope they get back to doubling up in the future.

They haven't actually done a full 4 Deluxe/Voyager waves since the initial year of Studio Series, every year after has only had 3 waves. What's weird though is that since then, we've been getting 3 waves of Deluxes with no less than 3 new figures per wave, 3 waves of Voyagers with exactly 2 new figures to a wave, and then 3 Leaders split between 2 waves, and this year seems to be messing with that pattern with the B-127/Dino wave to the point where I think we might have to get 4 waves again.

Leak-wise, we've seen listings for:
Deluxe Gnaw
Deluxe RotF Bee (the retail version of SS74)
Deluxe Jolt
Deluxe RotF Sideswipe
Another mystery Deluxe (speculated to be Sideways)
Voyager Wreck-Gar
Voyager Sweeps
Voyager BB Thrust
Leader Slag
Leader Grindor

That's enough figures that there's gonna need to be 4 waves again, right, since none of that is in the first 2? That's too many figures for one wave by one Deluxe and one Voyager. Also this would mean the typical 2-Leader wave will be the second Leader wave, not the first, assuming both Slag and Grindor still come out this year.

Just because we've only seen 2 deluxes out of the next wave so far doesn't mean they're the only ones. Earthrise fasttrack was previewed at the same time as er wave two, and was the only member of wave 3 we saw for several months until the rest were revealed later.

No, EntertainmentEarth's Wave case breakdown is what means they are the only ones. See for yourself.

Edit: Also, Fasttrack and Runamuk were both revealed with wave 2 and Trailbreaker and Sunstreaker were only delayed about 1 week. I know this because they were all available for pre-order during Target's BOGO 50% sale which only lasted a week.

Huh, didn't know we had case breakdown yet, cool. In my defense, every week of 2020 felt like it was a month apart from each other, and er wave 2/3 preorder season was 7-9 months ago. Information creep is one hell of a drug.

I'm right there with you, the only reason I knew that ER waves 2 and 3 were revealed that close together was because of the Target BOGO sale. If it was any other reveal, I wouldn't have had a clue myself.
