Transformers DOTM: Teaser trailer now in 1080pHD!

It's not a secret now. Either that's Sentinal Prime, Vector Prime or Alpha Trion. I'm hoping for Alpha Trion. Also hoping for the Quintsons or maybe even for Galvetron, Cyclonus & the Sweeps. Ooohh, maybe Hot Rod, Kup and Ultra Magnus. This time with out killing a bunch of Autobots in the first 15 minutes of the movie to sell newer toys. Ahhh wishful thinking.

It is not Scourge...it is an Autobot. The red tint may be due that his optics are offline in the picture. A second later, they turn blue.

As far as this orange guy waking up and the whole menacing "portent of doom"...all that means is that Bay's done his job. Just like the Mars Rover clip from the first movie. But hey, it sure as hell sucked in the Trans-Fans attention when it first came out. I have no intentions of letting my imagination linger any further on what the bot in the clip is because I have better things to do than let Mikey Bay and his crew mind-**** me for even one second. I would advise everyone else to take a similar approach. You all will be a lot happier in the long run. I've seen how a lot of you fans handle disappointment and all I can say is, damn, it ain't pretty!

Hadn't thought about it like that, but you're probably right ... it's probably a flashback to the before times of long long ago.

Why is everyone coming up with such silly guesses?? I mean, c'mon guys...LOOK AT HIM. I think it's pretty damn obvious that he's a Prime! And Cascadia's post with the Prime Cybertronian symbol pretty much confirms that anyway...

So no Wreck-Gar, no Scourge, no Kup, no Prowl...and certainly no damn Unicron (that's just plain stupid, pointless and too much wishful thinking, sorry!).

See, this is exactly what Michael Bay WANTS us to do - speculate, discuss and hype ourselves and eachother up until the movies actual release. It's a genius marketing and promotion strategy that most definitely works, by the looks of it...looool...

Let's not get too worked up over this anymore...but i'm still 200% sure that it's a Prime...and almost 99% sure that it's Sentinel Prime. There are just too many reasons and similarities that support it, which make it obvious, if you ask me..

THIS. I uploaded the trailer, and every one sems to think it's Alpha Trion or Unicron. How in f*ks name could that be Unicron? In all honesty, I would love to see a live action Unicron, but just...no. That's not him, its stupid! The only thing that resembles Alpha Trion is those spikes on his head, and his broad shoulders. Everything else resembles Sentinal Prime. He is definately a Prime. He has the same nose as Optimus, he has the same antene as Optimus and everything. IT IS A PRIME BY DAMNIT!!!

They really should have saved The Fallen, the death (and if they insist) and resurection of Prime, and the arrival of Unicron for this movie.
Can you imagine if Prime died again? "oh, he died in the last movie, thats right, he'll be back" (-Anticlimax! lol)

Heres hoping they have completely left the Unicron story alone (As much as I'd love to see it I just know it couldn't be done justice), this new bot is some sort of relation to Prime (on a side note, it always pissed me off that Prime didn't inherit the Matrix of Leadership [to my knowledge] from a previous Prime)And as a previous post noted, this small ammount of information will probably mean exactly nothing when the movie finally rolls out!

I'm leaning towards ALpha Trion. That was my first impression as well. It looks similar, but then the scale won't fit. Unicron is usually planet-sized, this one fits in a ship.

Tough if he IS a Dark God, The God of Destruction, THEN he doesn't have to be Humongous to be divine. He might be like The Fallen was: Prime-sized and infinitive power.

Dude, seriously, chill out. Simply because you don't agree with someone's opinion doesn't make it stupid. This is ALL speculation on our parts. No one has any more of an accurate guess than the next person, because it's all conjecture at this point.

Besides, how does the guy look "like a Prime" when aside from Optimus, the other Primes all resembled the body and head sculpts of the Fallen? The guy in the ship doesn't share the familial resemblance. Sure, he could be a Prime, but he could not be, and until we know, try not to bash other people for simply sharing their ideas here. It doesn't add anything to the discussion.

A quick...update thing. I just saw Narnia 3 and there was NO DOTM TRAILER! I Repeat no DOTM Trailer!!! You lied to me Narnia, you lied! Mother damn!!! It was a good ass movie though, I didn't like it as much as the first 2, but I still liked it. On a side note: I'm used to Narnia having giant epic battles at the end of the movies, but not in this one, no... they just have a big sea monster, which is why I didn't like it as much. So, I saw the movie, there was no DOTM trailer, I was pissed because of that, but I didn't allow it to hender my enjoyment of the other movie.

I've found that some trailers don't get shown depending on the time of day. ie, during the day I get subjected to trailers aimed at the younger generation while at night you get the trailers aimed at a more older audience.

I'm trying not let my hopes get up for this movie. I was excited after the first film. Thought the trailers for ROTF were good...then I saw the movie. I haven't even bothered to buy the film and I've been a TF fan for 25yrs. It's $10 at Target and I still don't think it's worth that.
Ergo, I don't want to get to excited but I did love how they tied the story into the Apollo moon landing. The moon landing was just a cover up? Awesome!!

Anyway this is my first post since Feb, cause like I said my 'spark' had gone dim on TF's for awhile.

I was just thumbing through the wiki and came across the Last Autobot. Seemed to me like a possibility.

My guess is that Sentinel/Alpha Trion/Mustached dude is a prisoner on a Decepticon ship. We know the golden figure is an autobot from the blue eyes, but the bots driving the ship are Decepticons. If you look closely at 1:31 in the trailer the first Protoform looks similiar to Barricade (although its likely to not be unless theyv got one hell of a medic) also at 1:38-1:40 the bot on the left looks like Bonecrusher. My guess is that the astronauts will accidently activate them similiar to how Archibald Witwicky semi-activated Megatron in the first movie :-B
