Thanks to a pair of eBay auctions we have our first look at Treds, a rumored Selects figure. For those not familiar with the character of Treds, a brief history lesson. Gobots were a competitor of the Transformers line in the early 80s. Through mergers and acquisitions beyond that, Takara and Hasbro ended up with the rights to use the names of the Gobots characters, which is how we got the name Leader-1 as an Armada character, how Classics Mirage was redecoed into a very suspiciously Crasher-like color scheme and character, and why in 2003, Takara and Ehobby released a set of redecos/retools of some G1 minibots as Gobots characters Pathfinder (Cosmos mold), Bad Boy (Powerglide mold), Small Foot (Gears mold), Bug Bite (Bumblebee mold), Road Ranger (Huffer mold) and Treds (Warpath mold). We've already seen a modern release of Bugbite in Selects, Road Ranger in the WFC Golden Disk collection, and we're rumored to be getting a 3-pack of Small Foot, Pathfinder, and Treds in Selects this year (from Legacy Gears, Velocitron 500 Cosmos, and Kingdom Warpath, respectively).
History lesson over, here are the pictures, from an ebay listing by sellers
transmimi and
ytsetron, respectively.
What do you think, Seibertronians? Excited to see some more obscure characters with modern updates? Sound off in the forums below!

We've known for a little while now that a Studio Series 86 Prowl would be coming to the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line and now we're getting our first look. Thanks to an
eBay auction we have what appears to be our first look at said figure. It's unknown if Hasbro is going to call it "dead", "dying" or simply battle damaged, but what we do know is that it has a new chest and head while in usual living Prowl colors. The damaged spot on his chest appears to even have a spot for an effect part to fully recreate his demise. No word yet on exactly when we can expect this to show up in stores, but we'll be sure to let you know when we know. Thanks to Sowndwave76 for making us aware of this figure!

Seibertron member,
carytheone, has directed us to
CarScoops.com, which has revealed that General Motors are to be auctioning off four of its Transformers Movie Camaros from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Transformers: Age of Extinction and Transformers: The Last Knight. The car itself was as much of a star as the Transformers themselves and even the actors, so the interest is bound to be high. These are surely the auctions for “big bucks” Car Collectors, Transformers Collectors and Movie Memorabilia collectors worldwide.
The action is set for January the 19th, 2018 at Scottsdale, Arizona.
Tickets can be bought on the Barret-Jackson website and the list of the four auctions are -
Lot 3009 - 2010 CHEVROLET CAMARO “TRANSFORMERS” AND “TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN”
Lot 3009.1 - 2010 CHEVROLET CAMARO “TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON”
Lot 3009.2 - 2013 CHEVROLET CAMARO “TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION”
Lot 3009.3 - 2016 CHEVROLET CAMARO “TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT”
Will you be attending the event or even attempting a purchase of these cars? Do you feel that General Motors is merely selling the cars off in retaliation to Bumblebee's self-titled movie appearance as a Volkswagen Beetle? Feel free to drop your opinion in here on the
Energon Pub here on Seibertron.com!

Following their
reveal at SDCC we've got some brand new pictures, and eBay listings of Studio Series
Dropkick and
KSI Sentry!
Dropkick is from the forthcoming Bumblebee movie and is one of two main Decepticons in the film, and while in it he's a triple changer, going from a helicopter to a muscle car, here he's just a helicopter.
KSI Sentry is supposed to represent a generic KSI made transformer featured in the Age of Extinction. While there is no direct match in the movie, this is a redeco of Stinger, the red Bumblebee-like bot from the same film.
The eBay user who has listed both of these seems to have a limited quantity available but they should be hitting retail soon enough.
Are you looking forward to these new additions to the Studio Series line? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews.

We have some new, potentially spoiler-filled news from the upcoming Transformers Bumblebee Movie, due in cinemas this December 2018, in the form of an auction of a movie prop over on
Screenused.com!
Their latest issue is auctioning off a Willys Jeep which is supposed to be the first alt mode for Bumblebee himself, in the opening - though not the opening opening, as we saw that it will be set on Cybertron
here - as we saw in the trailer, and as confirmed in the San Diego Comic Con 2018 footage from the panel (while pursued by John Cena / Agent Burns, and Blitzwing). All of this happens before he takes on the iconic Volkswagen beetle mode. You can check out the auction below, and some screencaps from the
trailer to confirm the alt mode jeep parts, and join the conversation!

While he remains the only figure of Titans Return Wave 3 to not get a youtube review, some interesting news comes from fellow Seibertronian
Bumblebee21 - a listing on
Taobao.com for a prototype of the upcoming Leader-Class Sixshot. At the time of writing he is currently going for around 144 US Dollars; and even if you're not considering bidding yourself, it's certainly interesting to see pictures of the figure's prototype. Check out the link and images below and tell us what you think in the Energon Pub!

Seibertronians, we've got something interesting for you, courtesy of our own
ScottyP. While everyone's looking towards
Amazon today, I'd like to re-direct your attention for a moment to Ebay. A user there by the name of
protoprimex, a seller who seems to mainly deal in Transformers, listed
this, a Transformers RPM Bumblebee in a new deco that was exclusive to the Hasbro Employees of 2009, up for sale.
We assume this was for a holiday promotion within the company, due to the winter-themed printing on the backing card. It also potentially lists out the departments this exclusive bug was sent to, or the subject matter the company worked on that year, on the back of the packaging:
Thanks for all your hard work!
Brand Creative Studios, Corporate Communications, Corporate Shows, Design & Development, Digital Media, Engineering, Finance, Global Brand Marketing, Global Consumer Insights, Hasbro Far East, Integrated Marketing Services, Legal, Model Services, Operations, Quality Assurance, Sales & Marketing, Senior Management, Uproar!
If you want to own a rare piece of Transformers merchandise, the auction is still open until Friday, the 15th of June, at 6:45 PST, and it's going for the reasonable price of $53.71 USD.
What are your thoughts on the Deco? Do you like it more or less than the
Hasbro Version? Did you place a bid? Did you end up winning the auction and purchasing it? Please let us know!
And, of course, keep your optics and audio sensors tuned to Seibertron.com for all the latest Transformers news.

Here's something a little different for the real vehicle and live action fans out there: have you ever considered owning the 'real' Optimus Prime and/or Bumblebee from the movies? Now you can, according to an auction organised by Barrett-Jackson. You can read a general overview of the auction
here, a snippet and some images below and browse the auction pages directly
here for Optimus (1992 PETERBILT 379) and
here for Bumblebee (1967 CHEVROLET CAMARO SS) - currently owned by Michael Bay.
I mean, why not, right?
Though the holiday season for giving extravagant gifts will have come and gone by the end of January, Barrett-Jackson, the World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions®, will sell two ultimate toys at its Scottsdale auction. This duo of the most famous vehicles in the world from the Hollywood big screen will cross the block at WestWorld … and they can be yours.
Optimus Prime®, the iconic truck from the “Transformers™” movie franchise will sell to the highest bidder in front of a capacity crowd that includes more than 300,000 event participants and 5.5 million television viewers worldwide. Fear not, Optimus will not be alone. It will be accompanied by its brother-in-arms, a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro used in “Transformers 4: Age of Extinction,” known as Bumblebee™.
Lot #1325.1 - When it came to creating the first live-action "Transformers" movie, the most important characterization was certainly that of "Optimus Prime." An entire team of artists and illustrators worked tirelessly, drawing potential trucks and cars, trying to zero in on just the right look for each robot/vehicle. When the film's production designer showed Michael Bay a photo of the enormous Peterbilt tractor, the director was immediately taken by the lines and size of the truck, even through he know he would face intense criticism for his choice - in the same way he did for selecting a GM Camaro in place of the original VW Beetle known as the beloved robot Bumblebee. Both of Bay's picks ended up enthralling new audiences as well as diehard fans of the sci-fi series. The Peterbilt, a more aggressive truck, was also used as Bay's tip-of-the-hat to Steven Spielberg's 1971 film, "Duel." This vehicle is one of the tractors used. It was a picture and stunt vehicle and is being sold "AS-IS" and "WITH ALL FAULTS" and is subject to execution of a Paramount Waiver. **SOLD ON BILL OF SALE ONLY. NOT CURRENTLY STREET LEGAL, FOR DISPLAY ONLY, MAY NOT BE EMISSIONS COMPLIANT IN ALL 50 STATES.**
Lot #1325.2 - "Bumblebee," Resto-Mod built to use in the fourth installment of the "Transformers" film franchise, "Transformers: Age of Extinction," starring Mark Wahlberg and directed by Michael Bay, the current owner of the vehicle. LS2 fuel-injected Corvette engine, 6-speed overdrive transmission, custom suspension, mini tubs, Wilwood brakes plus added stunt extra caliper, 9" Ford rear end, touchscreen navigation stereo system, custom three-piece racing wheels, Nitto low-profile tires, hideaway headlights, custom Halo LED yellow headlights, yellow Ridetech "TigerCage" rollcage, custom-made carbon-fiber fender flares and front splitter, power hood latch, satin black paint with high-gloss yellow accents, carbon-fiber engine covers, Auto Meter Cobalt gauges, system kill within glovebox, Eddie Motorsport hood hinges, custom billet core support bars with yellow accents, smoothed firewall, hydraulic braking assist. Audi flush-mount door handles. Late-model Camaro seats. Autographed by its current owner, Michael Bay.

As TFCon Chicago gets so very close, and NYCC is just around the corner, we'll keep on getting
Transformers: Robots in Disguise news. Today, it's the auctions of a China-based eBay seller,
jet_tang_2000, who appears to have prototypes for the series' iteration of the non-transforming Titans. The three figures available, show off three headsculpts and body variations: Bumblebee,
Qui-Gonn Optimus Prime and a new head dubbed Galvatron by the seller - though it looks a lot like that wolfish character in the
trailer. Check them out below!
