From the back cover: Transformers. One familiar word that conjures up visions of giant robots, epic battles, and for comic book fans, a world of sentient machines that is often best represented by the capable hands of the many artists who have left their mark on the material over the past twenty-plus years. Celebrating their achievements, The Art of IDW's Transformers collects the most memorable work from series such as Beast Wars, Generations, Infiltration, Spotlight, Escalation, Stormbringer, and Evolutions, and splits it up by artist to give an unprecedented look at the impact of talents like MD Bright, Don Figueroa, Guido Guidi, Bob LeFevre, Marcelo Matere, Ed McGuiness, Alex Milne, Robby Musso, James Raiz, Nick Roche, Rob Ruffolo, Klaus Scherwinski, E.J. Seibertron.com's Transformers and more wrote:Trakkon CALCAR is loose. It is 100% complete (includes gun). The stickers on this toy are pretty rough. The weapon still functions properly but one of the peg holes on the back of the weapon has cracked (which you can view in the 3rd picture below in this listing). I super glued it at some point to fix it temporarily. Please refer to the pictures for additional information about the condition of this used item.
Seibertron.com's Transformers and more wrote:The item is loose and is in great condition. It includes both missiles, the cyber planet key (sp8u), the omega lock (the electronic light still works), the Unicron head that came with early releases of Primus, the instruction book and a planet map (jungle?). The instruction booklet and planet map are factory sealed. Some of the pictures of this item are from the comparison shots in the gallery on Seibertron.com of Takara Tomy's 2010 Creator Primus. I intentionally used this Primus for comparison shots so that I could list this on eBay and only transform it once. Tip: The black "spires" are easily bent during storage or shipping. They are also easily restored by running the spires under very hot water, straightened, and then immediately placed in a freezer or under cold water.

hxc_punk23 wrote:You're bidding on a custom WFC Galvatron. It was made using a Generations/WFC Megatron, with some modding and custom work done to the chest, head (crown), and cannon. I used thin sheet styrene to build the horns/crown, I cut and added some thin sheet styrene to the chest to make it different from Megatron's, and I cut the cannon into a few parts and glued it all together in a more G1/WFC style. As with any custom painted figure, you need to handle this with care and realize that while it is a toy, this is a custom piece of art usually meant for display. I mixed Future Floor Finish into my paints to help prevent paint chipping and I also did a light coat over the figure once I finished. It shouldn't chip, but heed the warning, just in case!

Top-rated eBay seller frenzy_rumble has posted an incredible custom Leader Class STARSCREAM figure on eBay. You've got to check out the pics of this beautiful custom that's already up to $610 with less than 16 hours to go. Here's the item description from this auction:
frenzy_rumble wrote:Customizing Details :
This auction is for the customized Transformers Leader Class Decepticon : Starscream (Revenge of the Fallen)
Every so often Hasbro hints towards a figure I am very excited to get my hands (and paint brushes) on. A perfect example is this Leader Class Starscream. What an amazing figure, by far my FAVORITE Movie-Line figure to date. The details, articulation, and entire toy is so perfectly executed, it's a must have for all and every Starscream or Transformer fan. To begin with, I removed all the "inaccurate" tattoos (patterns) on his Jet and Robot mode, then air brushed him with super-high quality lacquer base paints. I then spent several tedious hours repainting these "tattoos" (war markings) on his jet mode by hand, using images from the movie. Please check out the list of modifications and improvements made to this AWESOME Leader Class Starscream custom. Remember, all paints used in the process were lacquer and enamel, so the finish is very durable, and the colors will stay vibrant and true for many many years (keep in mind, this is a collectible, so don't throw it around!) I finished him off with several finishes of Testor's clear coats, matte, semi-gloss, and gloss variations to keep the colors vibrant and true for years and years ...always through an air brush to ensure thin, even perfect coats. I ensure the highest and most durable paint applications on all my customs. I exceed necessary preparation to these customs - Special plastic adhering primers, automotive grade lacquers and the best paints around to detail with. As always, I am accepting VERY LIMITED custom commissions and/or requests. Check out my website or contact me through ebay for details.
Modification/Feature Details :
· Hands on ball joint, at wrist allowing FULL range of motion on hands
· Fingers/hands rebuilt allowing independent finger articulation
· Clip on "rocket packs" on his back for robot mode
· Tinted cockpit window (from inside)
· Hand painted (accurate) tattoos/war markings on both robot and jet mode
· Super realistic metallic details
· Button on shoulder launches "transforming noise"
· Pulling down the cockpit in robot mode opens Starscream's mouth and chest panels
· Same button lights up his eyes (red LED), chest and thrusters and says "No one can defeat Starscream!" and "Decepticons will crush the Autobots"
· Flip out weapons on both forearms, revealing chain gun (left) and missiles (right) Ammo belt included for chain gun arm, which clips onto Starscream's back
· Right arm converts to missile launcher (see photos)
· F-22 Raptor mode's button plays engine and combat sounds and lights (red)
· Automatic "transforming" sound when converting to either mode
If you like to express yourself by making your own customs, please stop by and say hello in the Transtopia forums where you can share your kitbashes, customs, artwork and fan-fiction.

I'm not certain which figures are Armada/Energon/Cybertron, or if all the names are correct, but I did attempt accuracy. I didn't see any broken parts; missing parts I could identify are listed with the figure description. Figures were displayed in a non-smoking home. Descriptions are as complete as I was able to make them; the lot is sold as-is & will not be split to sell individual figures.
This auction from Seibertron.com is for a TRANSMETAL OPTIMUS PRIMAL from Beast Wars, which was released in 1997. This item was MISB until I opened it to do pictures for this auction. I noticed that this item had two pieces of tape on one end which caused me to be weary that it was not a MISB item. I carefully pulled back the tape so that I could verify the contents of this item. As you can see from the pictures in this auction, the item has never been used before, is in BEAUTIFUL perfect 100% complete condition, and was indeed sealed until I took these pictures. Better safe than sorry ... I just wanted to make sure that his weapons were in the package! The tape was placed back in its original position and still looks like the item is MISB.

Fellow Seibertronian, --B--, recently posted about 20+ Transformers auctions on eBay which he shared with us in the Carbombya Buy/Sell/Trade forum. Here's what he had to say:
"Hey all, I've got plenty of TF auctions on eBay, 10 running now, 10 more that will start Saturday 24 April at 9pm PST. Stuff from G1 to Universe/Classics 2.0.
Proud. Egotistical. Way in over his head. Those are many of the words that describe Starscream. It can also be used to describe the many collectors who 'believe' that they have the Ultimate Transformers' collection. Two and a half decades have passed since the creation of the first Transformers toys, and to be able to obtain everything that was released till our present day; Exclusives, Lucky Draws, and everything else, is just nigh impossible and unlikely maintainable. That's why for those with not such a lucrative budget, like myself, try to aim to collect Transformers within a single generation, toyline, or simply collect figures that we find attractive or interesting.
A particular toyline is what Seibertron.com member rikkomba had in mind, as he had his hearts set out in completing the entire Armada series. Not only was his eyes aimed on obtaining that, but he wanted to obtain every mini-con that had been released since Armada's origins in 2002. What he has today is not something that he 'believes' to have complete. It should be considered fact that he's the first person to ever complete a full Armada/Mini-con collection. So, what, right? A complete collection is not anything to be taken lightly at all. Whether you're a fan of Armada, hate the series completely, or have avoided it's existence, I recommend that you take a look at this collection and pay your respects to it.
As an Armada enthusiast, I was surprised to see just what was in this collection. It's hard to fathom just what rikkomba has been able to obtain all these years. Everything that he sees fit to put into this collection revolves around one aspect; If the figure is a mini-con, or has a mini-con included in it, it's in this collection. He's got the original Armada molds, both Hasbro and Takara, and everything that has been repainted out of them, including Botcon figures. He's got every mini-con released, be it repainted or the originals. And then there's figures that many will never see face to face in their lifetime, Lucky Draw Armada figures. Now, I could go over everything that is in this collection, but that would take a ridiculous amount of time. I've decided to piece over what Armada figures that are the most elusive, and downright impressive.
We start off with one of the most elusive and grandeur Armada repaints of them all. Lucky Draw Green Unicron, a repaint of Armada Unicron. He goes by many names, Shining Unicron, Unicron of light, and Shining Unicron of Light. What did you need to do to obtain this figure? Well it was a Lucky Draw after all. You had to send in a postcard that was included in a Micron Legend Year book in 2003. Getting picked, would give you one of 10 Green Unicrons. Sadly, it has become even more rare as some of the owners of these Green Unicrons decided that they would split the package in two, by selling off Green Unicron's mini-con partner. Why they did this, no one will ever know.
Next up is what rikkomba claims to be the rarest Lucky Draw Combiner, and it wouldn't be far off to believe him. What composes this Lucky Draw Combiner JetConvoy is Lucky Draw Jetfire, a repaint of Armada Jetfire, whom rikkomba explains that only 5 exist. The other part is Lucky Draw Convoy Super Mode, repaint of Armada Optimus Prime, in which he says there are only 58 of them. Why there are 58 of one component, and merely 5 of the other is something that we'll never know. All I know is that I wish anyone good luck trying to obtain Lucky Draw JetConvoy.
Moving over to the little guys, mini-cons, we piece over what rikkomba says to be one of the most elusive mini-cons teams to obtain. The Space Galaxy Team. Only 400 of each mini-con were made, and to get one of the three mini-cons, you needed to purchase Takara Optimus Prime, which was priced around 50$. That means you needed to consider buying 3 Optimus Prime's in order to completely gather up this team. From what rikkomba says, many people are stuck with just 1 or 2 components of the Space Galaxy Team, so having all 3 would be a great feat. The Space Galaxy Team is a black and white repaint of the Destruction Mini-Con Team, who respectively are Buzzsaw, Drill Bit, and Dualor.
The last look at this collection features one of the most intriguing sets of mini-cons. 15 different mini-cons have been dubbed the DVD Exclusive Mini-cons. In order to obtain these 5 different repainted mini-cons teams, you needed to buy each volume of Takara's Armada DVD series. Each volume contained a one mini-con(excluding Volume 1, which contained 3) , a series of the Linkage comic, and the DVD itself. There were THIRTEEN volumes. Imagine the time and money needed to obtain these mini-cons. Another key component of the volumes were the Linkage comic, and you can check out a translated version of it here.
The Fifteen DVD Exclusive Mini-cons;
Super Stunt Team, repaint of the Street Speed Team;
Redline, Servo, Flatout;
Speed Chaser Team, repaint of the Race Team;
Tailslide, Midship, Top Gear;
Sonic Assualt Team, repaint of the Air Military Team;
Falcia, Combusta, Twirl;
Hazard Team, repaint of the Emergency Team;
Kingbolt, Quench, Impulse;
Aqua Raider Team, repaint of the Sea Team;
Sunburn, Freeboot, Bilge
Now we come to the closing point of this. Unfortunately the main reason why I decided to focus on rikkomba's collection is because he has to part with his collection. Due to a new career, he needs to sell of this collection. That's right, the Ultimate Armada Collection could possibly end up in your hands. If you have $14,000 US floating around, and deem yourself worthy to possess this collection, then by all means, take a look at his Ebay auction.
This is the most complete Armada/Mini-con collection that anyone can ever see. This is a piece of Transformers history. Spanding over 600 mini-cons and over 150 larger figures, this is something of a dream for anyone to obtain. The amount of time, dedication, bidding wars, research and commitment that rikkomba has put into this collection is just simply awe inspiring. If you're interested in looking at what else rikkomba has in his collection, you can check it out here. As a fan, I wonder if there are other series that have been singled out by other collectors. Is there a complete Beast Wars collection out there? RID? Energon? By all means, let us know in the Energon Pub. Even if you don't have such a massive collection, please consider showing off what you have in our Collections Forum!
So, has looking at this collection inspired the 'collector' in you? Well take in consideration one last thing. rikkomba doesn't reside in Hasbro's hub of the United States, nor does he reside in Takara's headquarters in Japan. No, our humble member has completed this collection while living in Italy. Go figure.
Seibertron.com member BOSKOES has just posted images of a custom repaint of Armada Unicron into the Lucky Draw Green Unicron or Unicron of Light.. This custom was designed to have a close resemblance to the original Lucky Draw figure, while maintaining the trademark "hyper detail" of the BOSKOES team.
Below are images of the custom with comparison pics of the real Lucky Draw figure for comparison (Courtesy of Transformers @ The Moon)

Lucky Draw Unicron
This Green Unicron was limited to only ten pieces in a mail away contest held by the Micron Legend Year Book back in February of 2004. The rarity of a Lucky Draw figure makes it next to impossible to acquire and the diamond of an TF Collection. The best thing about BOSKOES Unicron is that you can own it!!! This piece is currently available for auction here.
