It is the moment we have all been waiting for...Age of Extinction has finally hit theaters and IMAX 3D. Many of us saw the film the night before opening day (Thank goodness for 9 PM showings!) so without further adieu we give you the Twincast's AoE review.



We get the ball rolling by offering up our thoughts about the film. Did we like it? Did is suck? Guess you'll have to tune in to hear our opinions.



Ah, nothing like sitting in the theater for almost 3 hours. We'll discuss what we thought about the length of the movie and whether or not it was just a bit too long...



Prime was taken in a different direction with this movie compared to the previous trilogy. Was this change for the best or for the worse? Tune in to hear what we think of Prime's new persona.



Michael Bay treated us with a huge group of new faces that didn't just feel like cannon fodder *finally*. We'll discuss the new human characters along with all the new bots like Lockdown, Drift, Hound, and of course the Dinobots.



Up next we talk about our thoughts on the overall visual effects of the film and how it may actually be worth it to see it in 3D



With the Transformers brand, it always comes down to great voice actors in order to really bring the characters to life. Up next, We discuss the choices that were made for the new cast and if they were good or bad picks.



We then dive into our thoughts of what we experienced when we went to the theater.



News recently broke that there will be a Transformers 5 ...we all have our hopes as to what will be involved with this film but tune in to hear our speculation!



After seeing the movie, did it make you want to buy more and more toys? pfft most of us were already buying them before the film hit!



We finish up our AoE review with a quick discussion on the new video game titled "Rise of the Dark Spark" which is semi tied into the new movie. ScottyP was lucky enough to get his hands on it so listen in to hear his thoughts.

Age of Extinction toys finally hit the shelves and were gobbled up by hungry fans. First up we discuss some of our in-hand thoughts on the new Constructbots Dino Riders.



We even show some love to the new Power Attacker figures.



Okay, now it's time to dive into some real toys!

The AOE Deluxe Class Wave 1 figures are now in stores. Crosshairs, Bumblebee, Scorn, and Slug are pretty cool figures but as you'll hear, a few of us haven't even been able to get our hands on them. (thanks Comic Con!)



Scorn and Slug are the first Deluxe Class dinobots we've seen. You'll have to tune in to hear our thoughts on these guys.




Up next we talk about the new Optimus Prime and Grimlock Voyager Class / Leader Class figures.

Botcon registration has gone live - did the cast get signed up smoothly or did it all bomb? Tune in to find out.



Age of Extinction toys hit the internet today and will start (officially) hitting shelves later this week, but they've already hit the world famous Seibertron galleries! We talk about the Leader Class and Deluxe Class toys right off the bat. Tune in to hear some in-hand thoughts as we help you get pumped up for movie season!



We then turn our attention to the store exclusives for AOE, featuring Walmart and their Beast Wars resurrection of sorts.



We don't leave out the lazy Minicon repackages at Toys R Us or the chromed out stylings from Target either. Just how much chrome is too much? I don't think we talk about that, but we definitely give our thoughts on the potential of these redecos.

Welcome to the latest edition of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast! This episode features your host Counterpunch, who promises never to take corporate sponsored selfies while hosting the show. He's joined by regular cast Jon 3.0, Scotty P, and Seibertron to bring you all the latest in reaction and opinions.

The "original" run of Transformers comics comes to its end as Regeneration One #100 hit newsstands and comic shops last week. Listen in as yours truly completely fails to succinctly summarize this seized up slop of a story, as we lament missed opportunity and tell you how much we really, really didn't like this arc.



Our comics news isn't all doom, gloom, and sadness. Previews are out of the upcoming Windblade Mini-Series and we speculate on the art and story of the book. Plus, our staff on the other side of the ocean has been busy working hard, so be sure to check out Va'als interview with Windblade artist Sarah Stone while you listen for more insight into the creation of this upcoming book!



After the comic talk, we transition into toys by speculating if the presence of Galvatron in June's solicits portends a new toy in the works. Do you want one? Of course you do. So do we.


Statues come next in the discussion. Wait, what? Yeah, we take a bit to talk about the super high-end Action MasterMovie Prime and Ultimetal Megatron. Guess who wants to buy these on the show? Basically no one, but the team is accepting review copies for science.



More information is available on Masterpiece 21 Bumblebee during this episode, so reaction and speculation ahoy! We even get a chance to break some news on him during the show, of course, you know it by now - he includes Spike to make this the "OH SH--!" Masterpiece set you've always wanted.

We then turn to our old friend with benefits who we just can't ever get serious with, Botcon, and check out their latest reveal, Ferak. We also discuss the goings on with this year's convention, craziness with Joecon and potential ripple effects with Botcon, competition on the convention circuit, and lament the total lack of buzz in the community for this upcoming show.



Your listener questions come next, where we actually say some stuff about third parties.



We then wrap up with some Bragging Rights, in which Ryan overspends on new releases, Mike forgets he bought something, and Scotty gets one step closer to never completing his Micron collection.
