We had already seen Grindor in package and now we have a better look at the figure, including a comparison to Blackout. This figure is very movie accurate since the computer model used for Grindor's robot mode in the film was the very same one as Blackout. The alt mode is painted differently to simulate the different alt mode Grindor had in the film. We also get a good look at the itty bitty Ravage figure that comes with him. Takara Tomy Mall officially revealed the next two figures to get the Premium Finish treatment and interest in these will definitely vary. First up is PF SS-02 Optimus Prime based on his likeness from the Bumblebee movie. Paint details are much improved over both the original Voyager and the Takara Tomy exclusive 35th anniversary repaint, now featuring more accurate reds, ample amounts of silver paint (including the stacks this time around), more paint on sculpted details and extra scuffs and grime throughout the entire figure. It's a tempting upgrade over the original Voyager. He's due out in November for ¥6,380.
A little less exciting is PF WFC-02 Megatron. This is by no means a rerelease of the Netflix based figure, but it is another Netflix battle damaged figure which we've already seen twice-over in that line. It does do a better job with the battle damage, giving it a little more depth and realism rather than being a bright silver figure with some black marks on its chest. It'll be a hard sell for many people when he too is released in November for ¥6,380.
Keep in mind that Takara Tomy Mall is once again desaturating their Seekers for these photos, that's just a standard Studio Series Starscream above.

Hasbro has just finished their Transformers Fan First Friday livestream on YouTube (which you can view below). We have screenshots in a gallery that showcases all of the reveals and pictures for you!
This livestream was mainly focused on the 35th Anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie, and as such, they showed off the 35th anniversary editions of the movie, in Steelbook and 4K UHD versions, both of which feature artwork from acclaimed pop culture artist Matt Ferguson (www.cakesandcomics.com). The Steelbook will be available to preorder via Shout Factory's website starting on Monday, May 24th, and the 4K version will be available later this summer.
Next up, they officially revealed Studio Series 86-07 Leader Class Slug with Daniel Witwicky! While his existence was known for weeks, with even video reviews popping up, we did get to see his packaging, and he'll come with the same Sharkticon Pit backdrop as Grimlock.
And as you can see from that last picture, we're also getting Deluxe Class Sharkticon Gnaw! Studio Series 86-08, Deluxe Class Gnaw (now properly labeled as a Quintesson) is far more screen accurate than any previous version, and this new-mold figure includes his tail mace, and in a nod to his 1986 toy, his G1-styled gun is also included. Also, a comparison with his Titans Return incarnation was shown, and we can see that he's significantly bigger.
Next up was last week's leaked figure, Voyager Class Wreck-Gar! Many fans will be very pleased to know that he can, indeed, ride himself! Apologies for not getting a clearer shot, but it was demonstrated that not only can the Voyager Wreck-Gar ride himself, but Deluxe Class figures can also ride him. His packaging also showcases the Planet of Junk backdrop.
And the final reveal of the livestream was Shattered Glass Starscream! Using the Siege tetrajet mold in SG Starscream's traditional colors (inspired by G1 Jetfire), he also includes a sword accessory that can split into two separate swords.

While we have a good idea of what the rest of 2021 has to offer in terms of Studio Series toys, we never know which toys may get repacked. This is very important for people who have had local retailers skip the first wave of 2021. Those toys were produced at the worst part of the pandemic for manufacturing so Hasbro probably preemptively decided those toys would be repacked and indeed they are. So below you will see a breakdown of the next two waves yet to be on shelves this year, with case assortments and which toys are getting repacked. All of this is of course tentative and not yet confirmed by an actual retailer listing like Entertainment Earth. But our source, JTPrime17 has been very reliable in the past.

Greetings Seibertronians! Thanks to the Takaratomy Mall website, we have some new in stock images to share from the forthcoming Movie Masterpiece 12 Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime!
This toy is based on the how Optimus Prime looks during the much loved Cybertron sequence at the beginning of the Bumblebee movie, while the alt mode is the same as seen in the movies final moments.
As you can see from these images, not only does he come with his trusty ion cannon, but Prime comes with the Matrix of Leadership, rendered in the same style. The Matrix did not appear in the movie.

Thanks to the Canadian store Age 3 & Up we now have Canadian prices for both the Premium Finish Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. We also have a HUGE lot of CLEAR pictures that are unobstructed by any obnoxious watermarks.
First, we got the Optimus Prime on preorder at 70$CAN. He's based on the voyager Siege mold and he come with his gun and his axe weapon accessory that can also be a shield. Notable differences with the regular release are his green and cracked windshield, plus more battle-worn details. Feast your eyes on the pictures below!
Next is Bumblebee on preorder for 45$CAN, based on the Studio Series 18 Bee Movie Bumblebee. This Bumblebee come with all the accessories of the original SS18 version. Notable difference in deco is a more "natural" yellow color scheme with more mechanical details highlighted in metal paints of various colors. Look how surprisingly well it turn out with the following pictures!

Some images popped up online for two upcoming Transformers Premium Finish lines. One based on generations figures and another based on movie figures. But the images were small and it wasn't clear what this was all about. But the images were small and it wasn't clear what this was all about. Well now Loopaza Megastore has posted more details on their Facebook page as well as comparison images showing the difference between these figures and what we already had. Optimus, for instance, has the deco seen in the WFC Netflix show with the cracks on his windshield.
We also see that the plan is to release one figure from each line per month starting in October 2021. While this initiative is started by Takara, they may be available through Hasbro Pulse or other venues in the west as previous Takara "exclusive" were.
We've received some details of the coming up Transformers Premium Finish (PF) Series. This will be the original Japanese series, by selective of characters from two popular series: "Studio Series" & "War for Cybertron". The PF will add original premium paint details to make it as close to the screen accurate as possible. The first two release will be SS Bumblebee from Bumblebee Movie & Optimus Prime from the Netflix WFC Trilogy. Premium Finish will start release in coming October and will have 2 characters release in each month until March 2022 which means total of 12 characters (6 each).

While this figure is yet to be officially revealed by Hasbro, we've known of its existence for some time based on leaked listings and the photos that emerged a month or so ago. The figure is highly accurate to his appearance in the movie and comes with a small Daniel minifigure. He is the second of the Dinobots to debut under this new line, following on from Grimlock and Wheelie.
