Fellow Seibertronian Sabreblade has informed us of a 4th Transformers film currently in development. That's right, with the addition of this one, there are now four transformers films with creative teams attached. Anything could happen, of course, but as of now all the projects are in development. This new film project is being written by Marco Ramirez (who wrote Netflix' Defenders) and has Angel Manuel Soto pegged as director Angel Manuel Soto, who did Charm City Kings. All that is known is that this film will not be linked to any current film series, it will be its own thing.
Here are the other 3 Transformers films currently in development:
- the Bumblebee sequel written by Joby Harold and directed by Steven Caple, Jr.,
- the Beast Wars project written by James Vanderbilt,
- the animated prequel film written by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari and directed by Josh Cooley.
Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user Sabrblade has pointed us in the direction of twitter user @UNOYUKIN07153 who has tweeted what looks like excerpts from an upcoming issue of Figure King Magazine (Masterpiecenews inbound).
These pictures concern the Commander Class release of Transformers Kingdom, Rodimus Prime, who has proven to be a divisive figure within the fandom. The pictures show a comparison with Studio Series 86 Voyager Class Hot Rod. We also get some new shots of the trailer that Rodimus comes with.
Check out the pictures below:
Do these new images sway you to one side of the debate? Are you still committed to owning Optimus Prime's successor? Will you be getting him to light the darkest hour against HasLab Unicron?

Check out what Chuck has to say about this figure:
Chuckdawg1999 wrote:Starscream is a fine Voyager and an interesting take on the Cybertronian Tetrajet, definitely looks like a ship I flew in some 80's space shooter video game. Transformation is interesting but relies too much on friction to hold parts in place. Overall, if you're a movie fan this is a good addition to your collection.
We have embedded the review below for your convenience:
What do you think of this version of everyone's favourite schemer? Do you already have him? Planning to get him?

Greetings Seibertronians! Following on from the new images we had of the highly anticipated Leader Class Galvatron figure in the Transformers Kingdom line, Instagram user @seasalt99 has updated their Instagram account with even more images!
These include comparison shots with the Voyager Class Galvatron from Titans Return, with fellow Kingdom Leader Class Figures BW Megatron and Earth Mode Ultra Magnus. We also see him next to Siege Voyager Class Megatron and SS86 Voyager Class Scourge. Take a look at the images below!
Special thanks to fellow Seibertron users, blackeyedprime and Aronjlove for sharing these images in the Energon Pub.
What do you think of this version of the Emperor of Destruction? Are you replacing your Titans Return version? Will you be aiming his cannon mode at upstart Starscream?

We at Seibertron always aim to bring you the latest and most relevant news on all things Transformers. Occasionally, we do get opportunities to bring you content that's not exclusive to Seibertron, but is very newsworthy, and in this case, we feel is important for all Transformers fans to know. Kevin Lukis, the owner of fellow fan site Unicron.com, was granted an exclusive interview with Hasbro's Ben Montano, who's the Senior Director of Global Brand Marketing. Many thanks to Kevin for bringing this to our attention.
In this interview, Lukis and Montano discuss the biggest (and most expensive) Transformer ever made, the Chaos-Bringer himself, Unicron! They cover all things Unicron, including:
Why the changes to the color of the planet mode's maw was made.
Though he's the biggest Transformer ever made, he was, at one point, going to be even bigger.
He'd actually been planned for the Generations Selects line, which is reflected in his packaging.
When exactly he'll start shipping to U.S. backers.
Issues with distribution outside the U.S.
The unlikely chance of Unicron ever being reissued.
There are many other topics covered in the interview, which you can watch below.
So are you one of the lucky backers that will be getting your figure in the next few weeks? Just curious about what a senior Hasbro figure has to say about him? What did you think of the interview? Let us know below, and sound off in the Energon Pub forums!
(We would again like to thank Kevin Lukis of Unicron.com for the content).
There was a lot of entertainment news related to Transformers in today's investor conference from Hasbro. No less than 5 projects are currently in development and they were all talked about at the 1:30 mark of the conference. We reported on the Botbots TV show on Netflix, the new Animated TV show on nickelodeon and we all know there will be a third part to the War on Cybertron Trilogy show on Netflix called Kingdom.
Along with those 3 shows, Hasbro is currently making 2 feature length films at the same time and here are all the details that were given.
One film will be live action set for release in summer 2022 "with a fresh vision that will launch a new trajectory for the franchise". The director is Steven Caple Jr who directed Creed 2, Lorenzo di Bonaventura will be producing and Steven Spielberg will be one of the executive producers.
The other feature length film will be animated and that one will be directed by Josh Cooley, who directed Toy Story 4.
Greetings Seibertronians! Thanks to Takara Tomy's dedicated Transformers twitter account, we now have more pictures of the forthcoming Transformer Studio Series Dino, from Dark of the Moon, to share with you all!
The photographer shares in the accompanying tweet that they wanted to recreate a pose that Dino does in the movie (the machine translation says play instead). We also get a good close up look at his vehicle mode as well.
Will you be adding Dino to your movie collections?

Greetings Seibertronians! We've got some movie news here that seems to confirm some of what was rumoured earlier by The Illuminerdi.
The news concerns Production Weekly, an film industry magazine that lists all the productions that are looking for cast and crew, giving then the number to reach out to. As you would expect, the list of productions featured is long but one name stands out from the others.
Transformers Beast Alliance.
This confirms that at least as far as the working title goes, Beast Alliance is the next Transformers movie. Being this early though, the name is not set in stone and may well end up changing before released to the general public.
This means what The Illuminerdi posted is right in one sense, meaning the other information they shared may equally be right on the money. Time will tell on that information mind.
The other thing to note that with its incursion here that Production will be starting to ramp up, so expect more news on this project soon.
Does the working name inspire you? Or does it fill you with dread at what Paramount and Hasbro are cooking up?

Greetings Seibertronians! Welcome to another look at the latest rumours floating around about the cinematic version of our favorite franchise.
Let's start off with facts:
These are not new but help keep things grounded.
Fact 1# Steven Caple Jr (Creed II) is the director.
Fact 2# Joby Harold (also working on the Disney+ Initiative Wan Kenobi show) is handling script duties.
Fact 3# the movie is set for release in 2022. This could easily change but that is what they are saying at the moment.
Now, for the rumours, and as always, assume false till proven true.
According to speculation website The Illuminerdi, the next Transformers movie has gained the working title of...Beast Alliance (this is likely to change, if true of course).
Now while you take that it, let's discuss other things mentioned in the article:
Transformers: Beast Alliance takes place in the Bumblebee timeline and will be set in the 1990’s. The film will have the flavor of a heist film that will span from Brooklyn to South America.
Caple and the production are currently looking to cast either an African-American or a Latino actor in his early to mid-twenties for lead role, along with a female co-lead as old or even slightly older, who can pass for a native New Yorker. Unfortunately we were unable to get a double-confirmation of what Transformer robot characters are slated to appear in the upcoming film.
So first off, the idea is to leap a few years in time from the end of Travis Knight's Bumblebee film, presumably breaking it from connectivity with the Bay helmed films (as stands Bumblebee still works as a prequel to 2007's Transformers movie and supplementary material further reinforce it with Megatron being held by Sector 7).
Next, if true, we could be seeing Beast Wars characters a lot earlier then the proposed (but not officially picked up) Beast Wars movie.
There's no solid proof that this is the direction the live action movies will take. If it is true, however, then it will raise the questions of how the Beast Wars cast will fit into a narrative featuring the Autobots in the present day, and if they would use the cartoons scaling or the Kingdom scaling where the Maximals and Predacons seem to same sized as their predecessors.
Now, we turn over to you, the reader.
Do you think there's any truth here? Or do you think that the rumour is beryllium baloney? What path do you think Hasbro should take with the cinematic Autobots and Decepticons?

Thats not all though, as over on HasbroPulse.com, they've posted the fifth installment of their own update about Unicron, in the form of a behind the scenes documentary. The documentary shows us how the parts are assembled and painted, all the way to being placed in the boxes big enough for Solid Snake to stealth in.
With Unicron inbound, it seems some have been lucky enough to have been given one as youtube toy reviewer, Hobbymizer, has posted a preview to their YouTube channel, promising the review to drop on February 8th. Check out the teaser below.
Special thanks to users Sabrblade, Regimus Prime, and Dominus Prime for sharing these bits of news with us.
Are you one of the lucky people getting Unicron? Share your pictures of this titanic event in the Energon Pub, as we all celebrate his arrival, and that of the the animated movies 35th anniversary!
