According to
ABL Korea, the Trumpchi E-jet, a plug-in electric hybrid created by Guangzhou Vehicle Group Co LTD (GAC), will be featured in
Transformers: Age of Extinction. An individual close to the carmaker stated that they felt that merchandise placement in the movie would enhance profits both at home and in overseas markets. Playing it close to the vest as always, a spokesperson for Paramount Images has declined to confirm or deny any brand placement until closer to launch day. Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, however, has previously stated that the film would feature locally-made autos, saying:
The world’s coolest, most exciting automobiles will be in the films, like Chinese autos, so no matter whether you’re an automobile enthusiast or not, it will be a feast for the eyes.
It is unknown at this time whether the Trumpchi will make an appearance as an Autobot, Decepticon, or just a non-transforming mode of transportation, but a source near GAC did mention that they wouldn’t like the Trumpchi being used as part of an evil plot. They stated that the final decision on that would be up to director Michael Bay, however.

The fourth instalment of the "Transformers" franchise has just finished part of its shoot in China, and it features some beautiful natural scenery.
This cave, located in Wulong county of Chongqing Municipality, is a naturally formed karst landform. It was chosen as a location for the shoot of Transformers 4 for its breathtaking grandeur.
The final cut of this scene is about 2 and a half minutes. The shooting is mainly for a bird's eye view of the two bridge-like landforms, and a fight scene between transformers takes place under them. Then a transformer walks out from below the two "bridges". Huang Daosheng, Manager of Wulong Karst Landform Co., said.
Because the bridges are part of a world natural heritage, the film crew did a thorough test to make sure the shoot would not damage the bridge. The shoot has also lured a number of curious tourists to the site.

a new water bottle, with Optimus Prime and dino mode Grimlock artwork for £4.99;
a lunch pack with same characters, but different artwork, for £8.99;

Asahikawa festival takes place, in which sculptors and snow enthusiasts join for a week of white-covered fun.

Daily Finance, Transformers, along with other films of the action genre, have helped boost worldwide sales of tickets.
Movies such as Transformers and The Expendables have had great domestic success, but even better overall foreign market success, helping to propel Dark Of The Moon into billionaire's club territory.
Action films
Probably the major catalyst generating the most revenue internationally is action films. "The Expendables" obviously has that as part of its attraction, as does Paramount's "Transformers" franchise. The most recent installment, Dark of the Moon, had domestic ticket sales of $352 million, and global sales of $771 million, for a total of $1.1 billion.
A number of people wondered why the films have been so low on dialogue and big on action compared to the initial "Transformers" story. The answer is in the numbers, as international revenue soared while domestic revenue has bounced around.
Viacom and Paramount aren't going to change this because action sequences appeal to most nationalities. Too much dialogue risks limiting the appeal of a film because it may be construed as more nationalistic. Paramount will release the next film in the franchise, Transformers: Age of Extinction, on June 27, 2014.

Unfortunately, news bits like this tend to polarize more than they bring people together. While it could be said it's an opinion and not fact, truth is, there's some weight to the whole "low on dialogue and big on action" portion. For many that's a great thing, for others, that's just not enough to satisfy. Either way, most of the fandom will turn out, possibly several times, to see the film and help the numbers of ticket sales continue growing for the franchise.

A couple of months ago a member dropped by our forums with a supposed leaked image of Lockdown's face from the upcoming
Transformers: Age of Extinction film. At the time we had little to go in terms of verifying it's authenticity, but after the
licensed product reveals that came out the UK Toy Fair we feel its safe to say this is indeed Lockdown! At this point we can confirm that the gray Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is Lockdown, and comparing the leaked image below to the Lockdown Mashem from the show, this does appear to be his face. As you can see he has a very humanoid face, maybe a little Destro-
ish. Our staff member on the scene at the UK Toy Fair,

This will be our last update from the 2014 UK Toy Fair. See below for some more toy news, as well as some cool pictures from around the show!
Some information from HTI: They will offer two track sets, subject to approval. One track set will be an Optimus Prime Challenge, consisting of a truck with a trailer and red track pieces with loop. The track will emerge from the front grill, and the goal will be to hit the target that has Bumblebee artwork. Set to include two diecase cars, Bumblebee and Lockdown, the grey Lamboghini (named as Lockdown on the package.)
In addition, a Grimlock track will be offered. It will contain a red track that ends at a Grimlock T-Rex. Cars will go up the dino's back for a jump, and Bumblebee car will be included.

ECNS.cn is reporting the
Transformers: Age of Extinction crew has returned to the Wulong Karst National Park in Chongqing China to film additional footage. This is apparently due to recent changes in the script. The reshoots required two helicopters to get what they refer as "grand aerial shots" of the area's natural bridges.
Due to the recent script alterations, the crew was forced to once again visit the Three Natural Bridges scenery of Fairy Maiden Town in Wulong County on Monday, and used two helicopters to get several grand aerial shots of the tiankengs (giant dolines) and naturally formed bridges on Tuesday and Wednesday. The scenes they shot will be used in "Transformers 4" to add visual impact.
