3A has launched their Bumblebee movie Blitzwing gallery and, wow, does this figure look good!? As expected from 3A this non-transforming figure looks just like it walked straight out of the movie with loads of details, articulation, metal parts and LED lights to really bring it to life. We're also getting our first look at his accessories which include weapons, a replaceable arm, and extra sets of hands.
The figure can be pre-ordered right now at the link above for $199 which does include shipping. Considering his size of 10.6 inches and list of features that's really not a terrible price for a figure like this. The full list of bullet points can be found below along with the full gallery. You'll recall a recent news post where we showed off a second head on Bumblebee Movie Nitro Blitzwing that was believed at the time to be a head variant. Turns out the head bearing a movie-style resemblance to Animated Blitzwing's crazy face wasn't the only thing the two figures have in common. Thanks to a photo gallery on Facebook by Arhi Manta we now know that Blitzwing does in fact have both the standard and "crazy" head on the figure thanks to a face changing gimmick on the figure. In the photo below we can see the second head visible through a door on the back of the figure.

As I'm sure you may know, there is a new jet Blitzwing in the Nitro size class, with, well, a movie accurate head sculpt. But, today, we have what may be a new variant. As I'm sure you also may remember, Blitzwing from the Animated show had three faces, something unique to that version. Well, this upcoming Blitzwing figure has a possible new variant, based of a mix of the original, and the crazy face, from the Animated version. This was found from a "Ken Adrian" on Facebook, though it appears to be from a closed group. However, User:FigureGunplaFan did upload it to TFWiki.net. Superb!

With Bumblebee comfortably enjoying its fourth weekend in American theaters, fellow Seibertronian Sabrblade has made us aware that Bumblebee’s success has not been limited to the critical-sphere. Far from it, for a recent statement from Viacom CEO Robert M. Bakish has cemented Bumblebee as a financial success.
Speaking at the Citi TMT West Conference in Las Vegas this last Wednesday, Bakish made explicit reference to Bumblebee’s success, and that it had proven “solidly profitable”. Bakish specifically compared Bumblebee to 2017’s infamous The Last Knight, which had lost over $100 million domestically. As recorded by Box Office Mojo, Bumblebee currently stands at a domestic gross of over $100 million with a $135 million budget, with an additional $307 million grossed worldwide. Though relatively low compared to early films in the franchise, Bumblebee does appear to be steering the franchise back towards profitability.
With Bumblebee still running strongly in theaters, only time will tell how far it climbs. Fortunately for fans of the films, it appears that these earnings only further reaffirm the franchise's continuation into the foreseeable future.
Tf Fan Rob contacted us to let us know that after seeing us post about the new Bumlebee Ratchet toy, he just had to get it and make a review. And we are glad because we can now share that with you to give you the best look yet at the figure. While it is easy to dismiss this figure, we shouldn't discount the fact that it is a brand new mold for movie Ratchet, as well as the first movie Ratchet to turn into an actual ambulance. Thanks to Seibertronian Deadput, we have news on some concept art for the released Bumblebee film, with what we assume to be the Decepticons. Additionally, we also have concept art of Bumblebee's battle mask. The concept art was done by Joshua Viers on his Instagram. First, we'll show off the Bumblebee battle masks and a few Decepticons, then the rest with commentary from Deadput!

The concept art is from Instagram account conceptbyjosh, which belongs to Joshua Viers who has worked on the upcoming Captain Marvel movie and also Star Wars
Two different rough designs, the first one seems to just be helicopter with no car parts in sight while the second is close to Dropkick's actual design. (Kinda fits my theory that originally that Shatter and Dropkick weren't going to be triple changers with Shatter just being a car and Dropkick just being a helicopter, I have no actual proof for this but with this, the studio series figures it kinda and apparently Bumblebee being chased by a blue helicoptor in the same early screening rumors where we first heard about the "starscream" that turned out to be Blitzwing before the first trailer dropped.)
Edit: looked at the first design again, I see car wheels on his legs but otherwise not much else.
I personally think these would make some sick generic Decepticons, the second as a movie version of the TFP Vehicons. (Having all 4 wheels on the shoulders however seems to make a toy out of that design...problematic)
A coincidence for sure but the second design also resembles what I was imagining Decepticon Battlecharger grunts in my version of the Cybertron sequence that I wrote in this thread a few weeks ago except in Earth mode and with helicopter bits.
Follow up to the last post, Joshua posted a third concept today, this one looks quite Lockdown inspired (whether intentional or a coincidence who knows)

We all let out a woeful sigh when we found out about the issue on Studio Series 01 Deluxe Class Bumblebee, that the roof piece constantly falls due to a lack of a pin, stopping the toy from having a seamless transformation... but wait, there's hope! Studio Series 27 Deluxe Class Bumblebee, which is a redeco of the 01 Deluxe Class figure, but with some different paint applications and damage in car mode, indeed has the pin. We get this from the two English reviews below, the first of which was made and sent in by Seibertronian PrimeVsPrime, whose videos you've probably seen on this site. The second is from chefatron, who you have also probably have seen on this site!
The pin seems to greatly improve transformation, and will hopefully make buyers of the original toy less frustrated (IF they decide to buy this one anyway).
So, thoughts? Tell us if you would pick up this new figure and do... what to your old figure!

MPM-3 Bumblebee was released in the summer of 2017 by both Takara and Hasbro, and was popular enough that it has kicked off the Movie Masterpiece line in earnest. 3A is working their magic once again on the Transformers movie franchies, this time giving us our first look at Blitzwing from the Bumblebee Movie. Thanks to Seibertron's Nathaniel Prime we're treated to a preview of Blitzing on 3A's Facebook page. As expected the figure looks like it was lifted right out of the movie. The non-transforming figure features 51 points of articulation and stands at 10.6 inches tall placing it in scale with the previous Bumblebee figure.
Pre-orders start January 11 with no price given yet. We're hoping they'll have a full gallery for us as soon as tomorrow. What do you think? Sound off in the Energon Pub.

Walmart continues to charge ahead in promoting their in-store Pickup service. If you've been to a Walmart recently the bright orange corner of the building is hard to miss. Thanks to tips from Survivefan23 and Flashwave we're seeing a new commercial specifically promoting the Grocery Pickup service. And what a video this is! Several famous TV and Movie vehicles pull into a Walmart parking lot as associates bring out their orders. We also see the Ecto-1 with Slimer and Jurasic Park SUVs with dinosaurs terrorizing employees, Cinderella turning a pumpkin into a carriage, and Scooby-Doo pulling an bags into the back of the Mystery Machine. And then Bumblebee, straight from his own movie, jumps into action complete with a Michael Bay "bwomp" sound effect. There's a lot going on in this video, but if you just want to see Bee's part they've put together a shorter video of him alone urging customers to "transform the way you shop."
