The bloom of Transformers news doesn't end yet, as
The-Arker provides box images of two Revenge of the Fallen repaints - Strike Mission Sideswipe and Shadow Command Megatron.
Strike Mission Sideswipe is a shinier repaint of
Deluxe Sideswipe. He features a black strip across the hood and roof. Red windows and a dark grey body cap off the repaint.
Shadow Command Megatron is mostly a black repaint of
Leader Megatron, with red and copper accents. Check out each figures' biography and packaging images below.
Shadow Command Megatron
Landing thunderously among his assembled warriors, Megatron strikes the ground hard enough to shatter stone, calling his army to order. He has come here to renew his purpose, and reclaim his right to lead the Decepticon army. For too long the Decepticons have been scattered, either fighting as individuals or cowering in hiding. It is time that they all remembered that the word of Megatron is absolute, and no desire exceeds his well.
Strike Mission Sideswipe
Sideswipe is used to working alone, but he's enough of a team player to recognize that younger Autobots can benefit from his experience. What Mudflap thinks is a simple race is actually a training exercise. Sideswipe intends to put the young warrior through his paces, teaching him everything there is to know about offensive driving.
The two figures are set to be released when Hasbro kicks off their
N.E.S.T. Global Alliance toy line. They are also up for pre-order at site sponsor BigBadToyStore. Megatron is available
separately or with
Leader Optimus Prime. Sideswipe is avaliable for pre-order with the three new deluxe molds in
Deluxe 2010 Wave 2.

With all the amazing news that has hit the Transformers Universe today, why not add in something about the next installment to the live action movie franchise.
According to
Allspark.com, a leaked PDF Script Treatment for Transformers the Movie Part 3 has been made available by a person who chooses to go by the handle "Beachcomber".
Seibertron.com has noticed some inconsistancies with this "treatment" from the original 2007 film's
leaked script, dubbed Prime Directive, that was made available for a very short time way back when. As always, and as is stated by the Allsparkians, take this with a cup of salt and enjoy it for what it is.
Check out the email from "Beachcomber" and the treatment by clicking
here.

SEIBERTRON.COM EXCLUSIVE!!!
No this is not a mock up, or an early April Fool's Day joke.
HASBRO, in an attempt to reward the major fan websites for all of their devotion and hard work in support of the Transformers brand this year, has sent out a little thank you.
As a reward to our community here at Seibertron.com, we have worked hard to get the preview images up here first, and to discuss and compare with TakaraTomy's EZ Devastator set, released earlier in the year.
This thread is image heavy!!! And I apologize that these are not 'Seibertron' gallery level photos, in haste to get you the latest information and news, I had to use what was available to me in the time I had. I think you can see from the pictures how the packaging came out, and a few of the details in comparison to the EZ release of the toy.
HASBRO's LEGENDS CLASS DEVASTATOR-
First of all, I think this will be very satisfying to younger and newer fans. The fact that there will be a more affordable Devastator available, and that each part can transform to all three modes (robot/vehicle/and combiner mode) will be a huge draw. I can see this quickly becoming a top selling item for HASBRO, especially if the monster priced set of the initial release of the Devastator set was a 'top toy' for 2009.
And for collectors, if you waited, and hoped that HASBRO would make the EZ collection Devastator set, not change it at all, and make it cheaper than importing the Takara version, your wait is over. While there has been no retail price announced on this yet, due to its size, it should be a more affordable option for any collector.
I have only reviewed the set MISP (mint in sealed package), but it seems to be EXACTLY the same as the Takara EZ Devastator set. The paint apps when scrutinized from the outside of the box and compared to my EZ Devastator seem to be exactly the same.
As for plastic quality/joint quality/etc., when it is opened I can give you an updated comparison on that.
The package is a oval plastic. Similar to what one received when they bought a Target Exclusive Allspark version a few years back, it is not cardboard, but will display very nicely, especially with a set of the regular-sized Constructicons (as you can see in the photos).
Would I buy this if I already own the EZ version? That is a tough call. MISB collectors will like it, it's a smaller package, and has a nice window display. Since the inside seems to be exactly the same as the Takara version, I probably would only buy this if I wanted a MISB version. If not, I would probably not.
If I did not own the EZ version however, I believe I would buy one of these off the shelf without a second thought.
There you have it. A quick review a soon-to-be-release from the Transformers brand. HASBRO's Legends Devastator wraps the Constructicons into a nice, neat package, and presents them in a clean, clear way that collectors, fans, and children should enjoy.
The Devastator gift set includes transformable legends class versions of Constructicons Scrapper, Long Haul, Mixmaster, Rampage, Hightower, Scavenger, and Overload.
BIO-"Never before has a robot so powerful been seen anywhere in the galaxy. Indeed, few forces on Earth can match the strength and fury of CONSTRUCTICON DEVASTATOR. He is the equal of Earth's most powerful storms. A ferocious destroyer of all in his path. He is so huge that the very thought of engaging in direct combat against him makes even the stoutest AUTOBOT quake in fear. No one knows how to defeat him, bit if the AUTOBOTS hope for victory, they will need to find a way."

We'd like to thank
Seibertron.com members Grahf, ImoortalStarscream and MutantDinosaur for giving us the heads-up on another great sale on Transformers toys. Actually, this is less of a sale and more of a permanent price reduction.
Walmart has apparently lowered their price on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen deluxes to a very low $8. This is what they call a "Rollback" so this price will remain constant for the near future.
Walmart sales circulars vary a bit from area to area and state but it seems like this is a nationwide sale.
To see the Walmart sales ad for your store, you may click
here and enter your zip code. It seems like this sale is generally (if not always) in the page 8-9 section.

The fourth and fifth
Human Alliance set within the
Revenge of the Fallen toyline have finally received official images from Hasbro.
ActionFigs.com supplies us with images focusing on the packaging and stock photos of both Barricade, Mudflap, and their components.
The first Decepticon to be encompassed into Human Alliance is
Barricade. The
bad cop does not come with a Human counterpart, instead a human-sized one. We're talking about
Frenzy. Both Barricade and Frenzy are notoriously the first bad guys that we saw in action in the 2007 Live Movie. We've seen
Takara's stock photos, and packaging at a
convention. Now we are teased with the figure that will end up in our collections this winter.
Joining his brother in Human Alliance is
Mudflap. We were teased at SDCC '09 and now we finally get images of the goods. Mudflap is remarkably more detailed than his
Deluxe counterpart. His human partner is
Agent Simmons, notably wearing a white scarf. The entire set is topped off with the second Arcee persona to be in Human Alliance -
Chromia.
If you're interested in looking at what came before the Barricade and Mudflap sets, then you can find everything in Seibertron.com's
toy galleries in the links below.

As hard as it is to believe, it's December already. Beyond the holiday rush, one thing that means is that many are already looking towards the new year, and in this case the new decade.
That also means that the "recaps" and "best of lists" for 2009 are already out in full force.
In keeping with that theme, Yahoo! has presented their 2009 - Year in Review, which among other things features their top internet searches of the year. Not surprisingly, Transformers and more specifically the blockbuster movie Revenge of the Fallen are well represented. In fact, ROTF actress Megan Fox ranks #4 in Yahoo's overall Top 10 most searched list. Here is what Yahoo! had to say about her ranking.
Like her or not, Megan Fox was one of the biggest stories of 2009. Best known for looking sultry on the red carpet and acting offended when compared to Angelina Jolie, Ms. Fox also made (more) headlines by bashing "Transformers," the film franchise that made her famous.
But then "Jennifer's Body" hit theaters. After the hipster horror flick headlined by Fox tanked at the box office, the oft-ogled starlet changed her tune about the robots in disguise.
Although some question Ms. Fox's ability to sell tickets, nobody can doubt her canny ability to drive searches wild.
In a somewhat related story. even though the US car industry has been struggling at best, the Chevrolet Camaro has been one domestic model that has definitely risen above that. In fact, the 2010 Chevy Camaro actually was the most searched car model on Yahoo this year. Revenge of the Fallen and of course Bumblebee definitely had a lot to do with that.
You can view the Top 10 overall searches
here and the Top 10 most popular car models
here.
