Via the Transformers Twitter account and Micheal Bay himself, we have a release date for The Last Knight's teaser trailer: December 16! That's right folks. Star Wars: Rogue One will be the movie that shows off the first teaser trailer for the upcoming movie.
This was revealed via a very brief 15 second video showing off Micheal Bay in front of the movie's logo and making the announcement.
With that in mind, You all have an even greater reason to go out and see the new Rogue One movie December 16. So get your tickets and prepare for an experience!
As an update to our previous story about Transformers: The Last Knight Optimus Prime, in his toy form, fellow Seibertronian Fc203 headed to Snapchat to grab some screenshots for the update from Hasbro - check the better quality of multiple angles below!
Though not the original source of the images (looks like they're actually from Snapchat), Twitter user @astrotrain has shared two new angles of the recently officially revealed Voyager Optimus Prime figure from the upcoming Transformers: The Last Knight live-action movie toyline. The images of the Premier Edition Autobot leader are mirrored below, and the conversation is already bubbling - join in at the Energon Pub!
Seibertronians, we have some additional details on the newly-announced Transformers 5: The Last Knight Optimus Prime Toy. Coming from a post on the official Transformers Instagram, we have an additional shot as well as the full official product name of the first TLK action figure. It seems the figure will have more detail work than standard figures, inspired by Prime's movie paintwork. Take a look at the New "Premier Edition Voyager Optimus Prime" figure below, and tell us if you think this new "Premier Edition" Branding will become a new sublime for the movie figures.
Via fellow Seibertronian Madeus Prime, we have a new clip featuring mostly old footage, about the relationship between Paramount's live-action Transformers movies and IMAX. Embedded below, you can see some clips of the past four movies, from the 2007 one to Revenge of the Fallen, to Dark of the Moon and Age of Extinction, in preparation for The Last Knight, due summer 2017. Transformers: The Last Knight has teased its IMAX trailer for some time now. And it looks like it's about time for that teasing to pay off.
We bring to you a pair of news closely related regarding the upcoming IMAX trailer. The first piece of news is that the trailer has been officially classified by Alberta Film Classifications. Alberta Film Classifications is a very reliable site with regards to film and trailer classifications, and they usually classify a film that is set to show a trailer within 1 week. The classification reads:

Coupling onto that, we also bring to you news that the trailer will be available online at some poit in time after its IMAX release. On this early Monday morning, we bring to you a special news story that has its beginnings in the Age of Extinction and beyond movies with their new version of Autobot Leader Optimus Prime.
A group of fans decided to take it upon themselves to make the Autobot Leader a reality that travels the world and makes dreams come true. And today, we are proud to tell you that the reality has reached completion.
The Fiduccia family, with official approval from Hasbro and funded by America's Footprints, has successfully built an exact replica of the Western Star Truck used to represent Optimus Prime in Age of Extinction, The Last Knight and supposedly other upcoming live-action movies as well. This replica Optimus Prime was built with a simple function in mind: to travel the world and to bring Optimus Prime to all those various fans spread out all over the globe.
During various phases of construction, Optimus has made trips to several different locations and has been spotted and both photographed and recorded during those trips. This would help explain how some fans were able to see Optimus during filming of The Last Knight when he really should have been a fair ways away! Among his destinations were: the Children's Hospital in London, London's Forest City Comic Con, a stop for photographs with the 826 ORD Madison soldiers (upon CB request!), Central Canada Comic Con, and more!
This special Optimus Prime will be travelling around the world, and you can keep up with Optimus at the Optimus Is Here Facebook page! Like the page, and keep up with wherever Optimus ends up next. For all you know, you will get the chance to be photographed with one of the most famous Big Rigs of all time!

Isabela Moner had quite the eventful first day on Transformers: The Last Knight!
Chatting with Girl’s Life mag, Isabela dished on the very first scene she shot for the upcoming flick.
Director Michael Bay greeted her with this: “Welcome! Today you’re going to put out a fire. Do you know how to use a fire extinguisher?”
Good thing she could!
“Michael lit this huge fire so I could practice, and kept shouting, ‘You have to get closer! Closer! You’re not in the shot yet!’” Isabela shares in the December/January issue. “All I could think was, ‘My face is going to melt off!’”
Another scene found Isabela sprinting while hauling three huge para-chute bags. “I grabbed them and I ran through the scene with all this wind blowing in my face and dust getting in my eyes and smoke and things on fire. When I finished it, it was just the most amazing feeling to know that I’d done it.”

Seibertronian board admin Burn has pointed us towards some fresh news about the 2018 Bumblebee movie planned by Paramount as part of the their shared universe with Transformers - and beyond, given the the recent trends: according to Deadline, the script for the spin-off exists, written by Christina Hodson (one of the many writers in the Goldmans Writers' Room), and the studio are currently looking for a director! EXCLUSIVE: Paramount Pictures is getting closer to liftoff on Bumblebee, the first spinoff of its billion dollar Transformers franchise, this one based on a popular character in the series. The studio finally has a script it’s sweet on, and will shortly go out to directors. This comes after Paramount and Michael Bay assembled a “writers room” constructed of his scribes who fleshed out the Hasbro universe. A late addition to that program, Christina Hodson, is the scribe who cracked the spinoff and turned in a script that will make it possible for Paramount to mount the film for 2018. Hodson was one of three female writers (Lindsey Beer and Geneva Robertson-Dworet were the others) who joined a group of male scribes in the writers room in summer 2015, as they set out to hatch ideas to expand the mythology of the universe. The next sequel, Transformers 5, is directed by Michael Bay and scripted by Ken Nolan and Iron Man scribes Art Marcum & Matt Holloway. It hits theaters June 23, 2017, while Bumblebee has been dated for June 8, 2018.
At a time when Hollywood is looking for voices beyond the male scribes that usually dominate the action space, the emergence of Hodson as the scripter of such a large scale film is very encouraging. The scribe, half Asian and raised in London, started as a development executive. Since transitioning to screenwriting four years ago, she has quickly become a sought after scribe for muscular, female-driven stories in traditionally male-dominated genres. Hodson has the Farren Blackburn-directed thriller Shut In, with Naomi Watts and Jacob Tremblay starring for EuropaCorp and Lava Bear, and the Denise DiNovi directed erotic thriller Unforgettable, with Rosario Dawson, Katherine Heigl, and Whitney Cummings starring for Warner Bros next year.
She has hit the Black List with scripts three different times since turning to writing four years ago. One of those, her spec The Eden Project, sold in a splashy deal to Sony and Material Pictures. She has scripted a reboot of The Fugitive for Warner Bros and producer Arnold Kopelson, and is writing for Warner Bros and DC Entertainment an untitled feature set in that DC universe. Hodson is also writing a female-centric action epic for Nina Jacobson at Fox 2000, and has just cracked television, adapting the Japanese crime novel Out as a potential series for AMC. Hodson is represented by CAA, Kaplan/Perrone Ent. and Ziffren Brittenham.
